The Prophetic Buffet Table –Transcript of Podcast by Christine Beadsworth
I just wanted to share a quick word about something that the Lord has been putting His finger on for a few weeks and again, as I woke up this morning, He was really emphasizing this topic. We’re hearing so much about the key of David from Isaiah 22:22, that He will put the key of David upon the shoulder of those He chooses to raise up. I just want to just share with you a warning that the Lord’s been sharing with me. It’s really important that we don’t try and lay the key of David upon our own shoulder, because in Isaiah 22 where it discusses the key of David, the passage that comes before the verses that mentions the key of David are really important. As I mentioned before in my last message, Neville Johnson said that 2016 is the year of the changing of the guard and in Isaiah 22, the Lord speaks about dealing with an unrighteous steward called Shebna, who has tried to carve out a place for himself amongst the mighty and it says in Isaiah 22:17 “the Lord will hurl you away violently, you strong man. He will take tight hold of you, cover you with shame, roll you up in a bundle and toss you like a ball into a large country and there you will die, you disgrace to your master’s house and I will thrust you from your office and from your station you will be pulled down... and in that day, I will call My servant Eliakim...”.
So right there in chapter 22 of Isaiah verse 19 we see the changing of the guard described, where the unrighteous stewards, the unrighteous servants, the disgraces in their Master’s house are thrust from their office by the hand of the Lord and not by the hand of man.
In Isaiah 22: 20 it says: “in that day, I will call My servant”. Notice it says: “I will call”. We have to wait for God to call us and we first have to become His bond slaves. In Hebrew, that word “servant” means ‘bond slave’. A bond slave has no will of his own. He does the will of his master for life. So it says: “in that day I will call My servant Eliakim”. Eliakim means ‘God of raising’ and there’s a really important key in that name, because there’s an acknowledgement that it is God who raises up and it is God who pulls down. Remember that it was Satan, the original fallen angel, who said: “I will ascend” and I’m very concerned about the current trend in the prophetic movement of trying to ascend or raise oneself to a place of ruling, to a place of spiritual responsibility, to a place that you believe is appointed to you. He is the God of raising and we have to wait for the day when He calls by name His bond slaves, who acknowledge that He is the God of raising.
In Hosea 6 it says He binds up so that He can heal and after 2 days He revives and on the 3rd day, it says, “I will raise up”, not “you will raise yourself up”. “I will raise them up to dwell before My face in my presence”.
So, there’s a really subtle thing going on here concerning the taking of a position that one believes God has appointed to you a long time ago and you’ve been in preparation and you’ve been in the refining fire and all that kind of thing, getting ready for what is in the next chapter that God has promised you, but we have to stay in this place where He is the God of Raising. Those who are declaring that you go and take hold of something in this year of 2016, the year of the vav, (the 6th letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Vav, is depicted by a pictograph of a hook), laying hold of what is in heaven with your hook and pulling it down to earth for yourself, there is a very subtle tainting with the aftershave of the one who said: “I will ascend”, “I will sit”, “I will be like the Most High” and we have to move as far away from that as possible, and repent in every area necessary where we’ve ever been of that motivation - of raising ourselves up, because in the day of the changing of the guard, in this year, it will be God who tosses out and pulls down and thrusts out of office, those who have tried to hew out a place for themselves and engrave their own names among the mighty.
So let’s just notice something in Isaiah, from 22:20 it says: “in that day, I will call, I will clothe, I will gird, I will commit your authority, I will lay the key upon his shoulder, I will fasten him like a peg or a vav in a firm place”. So all those things are things that God says He will do for those who remain in the place of humility, who remain in the place of hiddenness, who remain until He calls. It says in verse 20: “in that day, I will call” and that word ‘call’ means to call by name - like Joseph, waiting in the prison, till his name was called. Then he changed his clothes and ascended to the place appointed for him at the right hand of Pharaoh. We have to wait for the calling of our name, for God to clothe us, for God to put His girdle of truth on us, for God to lay a key of authority upon our shoulder and it’s specifically the key of the house of David. You know, we talk so much about the key of David, but actually the key to the house of David is a key to open a house. The house of David is where Christ came forth from. He didn’t come forth from the house of Saul, He came forth from the house of David and that’s a really important thing. It’s not just a key that you have to open any door. It’s the key to the house of David. It’s not a key David used to do all sorts of different things. It’s the key to the house of David specifically, which is a reference to a particular family line; the key to that company used to bring forth Christ in the earth.
So, when we are really God’s bond slaves, we wait for Him, He is the God of raising (Eliakim). I want to also connect this with Revelation 3:7 where He speaks about the key of David: “to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He who has the key of David’”. Who is the Holy One and the True One who has the key of David? It is Christ himself, because He came from the House of David. He has the key of David and He’s the one who opens and no one can shut, who shuts and no one can open. I want to say to you, the Holy One and the True One who has in His hand the key of David, only gives an open door to those who are holy and true and fully united and perfect in one with Him. He is the original Holy One; in other words, completely sanctified, set apart, consecrated and pure. He is the True One, there’s no unrighteousness, no hidden darkness, in Him and when we are made perfect in one, when we are completely consecrated and surrendered to the Lord, when we are walking in the light as He is in the light and there’s no darkness in us, He Himself (who knows our record of works and knows what we are doing), sets an open door before us.
Let’s read Revelation 3:8 “I know your record of works and what you are doing. See, I have set before you a door wide open”. Notice that word “see”. When He knows that we are holy and when He knows that we are true, He gives a command and He says: “See”, in other words, ”let your eyes be open to the spiritual realm to see the portal that is open into the spiritual realm that I have set before you!” The door set before us is the door of the house of David and in the house of David there’s much treasure, much wisdom and much revelation.
Pro 21:20 There are precious treasures and oil in the dwelling of the wise
That’s the door that He sets before us, - but we’ve got to be holy (wholly His), we’ve got to be true, we’ve got to be like Eliakim, acknowledging that He is the God of raising.
We don’t rise up and take hold of these things ourselves. We guard and keep His word, like it says in Revelation 3:10; “Because you have guarded and kept My word of patient endurance, I will also keep you from the hour of trial”. Where are we kept safe from the hour of trial, by walking through the door into the house of David, by being set apart and holy as those who bring forth Christ in the earth. He cautions us to hold fast to what we have. Overcome this thing of being unholy and walking in untruth or lack of light. Overcome, hold fast to the revelation you have and understand that He is the God of raising. Even Jesus had to wait for the Father to raise Him up from the grave! On the 3rd day, He raises us up to dwell before His face and He will come to us as the heavy latter rain. We can’t make it rain. So I just wanted to share that word with you just as a warning. Be very careful and sift the prophetic words that are going out. Don’t just swallow everything that tastes nice in your mouth. If your flesh likes the taste of it, it’s probably not from the Spirit of Truth.
I had a dream probably 2 weeks ago now, where I saw men standing to one side and secretly putting their semen into big bowls of salad that were then taken and laid upon a buffet table. The men were dark, completely black silhouette figures whose identity one couldn’t discern and when I woke up, the Lord shared with me that there is semen or seed from angels of darkness being added in to the food that’s being prepared for the present prophetic buffet table that the Body of Christ is busy helping themselves to. They are dishing up plate-fulls to satisfy their own personal likes and dislikes - “I’ll have a little bit of this, I’ll have a little bit of that, ooh, this looks nice, I’ll put a good spoonful of that on my plate”. Actually, God doesn’t really serve up a prophetic buffet table. He speaks His mind and that’s His plate of the day and that’s it! We are called to bow our knee and align ourselves to it. However, what’s being offered up on the prophetic buffet table in this day for the Church, has semen with the seed of darkness mixed into the salad. It might look like passion fruit pips and you don’t notice it hidden amongst the lettuce leaves, but the reason why this dark seed is being inserted is in order to conceive something in your heart other than the image of Christ. It will instead bring forth those in the image of the original one who said: “I will ascend, I will sit on the seat of the Most High in the midst of the congregation”.
So, repent at this time of any inclination within yourself to ascend or to be seen as high up spiritually, or the desire to take hold of a place of rule within the congregation or to be above your brethren. Rather align yourself to Jesus, who knew who He was and where He had come from and yet girded Himself with a servant’s towel. Align with Eliakim, who acknowledges that He is the God of raising and when He has tried us, we will come forth as gold. Be very careful of dishing up dinner from those prophetic buffet tables and the salad bowls that are presently displayed. There’s no true meat there. That semen I saw in the dream wasn’t being put into meat dishes, it was being put into salad dishes and to be honest, any meal another man has chopped up and chewed a bit before sharing it, is not a full solid steak. Of course there is still nourishment in it, but to reach mature manhood in Christ, you have to learn to eat all by yourself. If you really want the meat of the Lord, you’re going to find that in your inner chamber on a date with the Spirit of Truth... and I must warn you, those He loves, He convicts and shows in which way their lives are wrong. He doesn’t dish up chocolate brownies and ice-cream in my experience! But yes, He is kind and only gives the medicine we need for the root of our pain and issues.
He will place a special cut of Heaven’s steak on your plate - and then it is up to you to cut small pieces off it and chew them properly and swallow them in order to get the full benefit. Digesting steak means allowing the Word to become flesh in you; walking in the truth and light that is revealed specifically to you – it is called bringing forth fruit in keeping with repentance(the renewing of your mind). That takes a while to flesh out. Heaven is not in the habit of serving fast food...As you chew, the Spirit of Counsel will minister truth and light to you that will set you free. As you ponder these things, may the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, lead you into all truth.
Psa 32:8 I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Psa 32:9 Be not like the horse or the mule, which lack understanding, which must have their mouths held firm with bit and bridle, or else they will not come with you.
