2018: A Time of War—and Victories

(Trump, Wall Street, California, Israel, Jerusalem, Cryptocurrencies, North Korea, Iran, etc.)

2017 has been a year that has exceeded every projection of disruption. A year ago I wrote a word entitled “Trumpquake” that described the upheaval that Trump’s presidency would usher in —ensuing tsunami waves of change. If anything, that word understated what actually has become reality.

2017 IN REVIEW

The first full year of Donald Trump as President shook seemingly everything that can be shaken. A most sensational war has been engaged with the dominant media all year, with no truce coming from either side. “Fake news” and “alternative facts” are now household concepts and realities, and an overall vicious, political atmosphere was in effect for the entire year.

We have also had very extreme weather patterns, as creation seemingly caught itself up in the turmoil of everything. Many severe weather stories became relegated as compared to the three big storms—Harvey, Irma and Maria, that each in its own way was a historical hurricane, which I have previously covered. Interestingly enough in Zechariah 9:14 it says:

“Then the Lord will appear over them; His arrow will flash like LIGHTNING. The Sovereign Lord will sound the TRUMP and He will march in the storms of the south.”

The Hebrew word for the word “lightning” is “baraq.” It is no coincidence that this verse speaks of a time where the Lord intervenes with “baraq" (or Barack), and then that He would sound the “trump” (or Trump) and march in the storms and hurricanes of the south. God is neither Trump nor the hurricanes, but He is sounding the “Trump” and He has marched IN on the hurricanes of the south. Put together the first letter of each storm and you have HIM. In the seeming mayhem of it all He is there.

In 2017 we also experienced an almost unprecedented total, solar eclipse that carried its own message. Then we had a constellation assignment so unique that again, the "doom and gloomers" came out of the woodwork with another false, prophetic narrative. All these events and phenomenon were significant and telling of a special day, but it was all about kingdom of God advancement and not kingdom of darkness advancement.

Somehow, each of these “once-in-a-lifetime events” seemingly paled in comparison with the “Harvey Weinstein effect” that has seen literally hundreds of the "gate keepers" at the tops of all 7 mountains (media, economy, government, education, family, arts and entertainment, and religion) forced from their stronghold position. Suddenly and before our very eyes, tsunami waves with a new cultural appetite for justice are vacating the high places and making room for the new. A line has been drawn in the sand. God’s daughters will be better protected as they rise and shine. The accompanying storyline of the hit movie “Wonder Woman” is all interwoven into the new narrative of the day—a movie where not only were women positively highlighted, but the central star was an Israeli actress named Gal Gadot. No coincidence there either.

2018: WAR- AND VICTORIES

I would like to tell you that 2018 will be very different than 2017, and that everything will calm down. However, to do so would be to mislead you. Ecclesiastes 3:8 says that there is “a time for war and a time for peace.” Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, this is not the time for peace, but for war. However, there is great news in this forecast because the purpose of this time of war is to regain that which was lost, and to take “Promised Land” ground that was never entered into. The enemy is always at war with us—this is a time for it to cease to be one-sided. God is surely anointing us for war, meaning He has great victories designed for us. This time for war has both a collective and individual application, and in both scenarios the righteous must be bold as lions.

I want to take some time to explain this present meta-narrative, because as we do it allows us to position ourselves with the necessary resolve to experience the much-desired breakthrough victories. The taking of “Promised Land” is designed to come only to those who will “be of good courage,” as the Lord repeatedly told Joshua. Perhaps there is an absence of courage in the present Body of Christ, and we must now set our minds to be people of courage. A basic ripple effect of not embracing courage manifests itself as fear and anxiety—that has presently disabled many of the sons and daughters of the King and must now change. For this, you don’t need another sozo (inner healing session)—you need to set your mind to be courageous. Most likely, your external circumstances are not always going to be peaceful, so you must find that peace internally. Being courageous positions you to be peaceful no matter what unexpected circumstance comes about. We are courageous knowing that this season is a season of designated victories.

SAUL, DAVID AND SOLOMON: OBAMA, TRUMP AND NEXT

I was shown that this significant season for the United States has many parallels with the season the children of Israel went through with their first three kings—Saul, David and Solomon. The parallels are not perfect, so it is not good to excessively read into the analogy—but it is a narrative that will assist us in embracing the present, as well as setting ourselves up for where we are going next. The parallels should not be used to excessively demonize Obama, nor overly praise Trump, but there is something to learn here. Before I address this I want to acknowledge how much we all still have to learn about God’s ways. He has spoken to me about how MOST of us are out of synch with both who He is and what He is doing. That may be initially discouraging to hear, but if we will use that to properly position our hearts in humility it can be the best thing for us. In the aforementioned Ecclesiastes 3, it says in verse eleven that, “God has made everything beautiful in its own time,” but then goes on to say, “but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” This is a good presupposition for most of us. As 2018 progresses many of us will discover it as a reality. This is especially relevant if you have strong political opinions. Right now the church is split almost down the middle in its political opinions, and both sides are sure God is on their side. Unfortunately the split is often along racial lines as well. The easiest thing to do for the various races is to perceive their perspective is right and the others is wrong—and this feeling is MOST pronounced among believers. Somebody is going to have to do a lot of opinion-changing.

It is my observation that MOST of us will have adjustments to make in our thinking. Trump is uniquely ordained and anointed BY GOD to lead the United States at this time. This I tell you not from a political perspective but from a purely prophetic perspective. I have previously shared with you before that as I was seeing the vision of him winning I said aloud, “Oh No!” It was not MY choice, or MY opinion. Many of you are going to be invited to abandon YOUR choices and YOUR opinions in order to be in synch with Gods. This does not mean that if you voted for Trump you have nothing to learn. I believe I was shown that perhaps most of those who voted for Trump did so for the wrong reason. Conversely, many that did not vote for Trump did not do so for a good reason. It is time to shift from “good” to “God” in our reasoning. That only happens when we prioritize His Kingdom above our own and remain humble and teachable.

OBAMA AS SAUL?

I believe that President Obama parallels Saul, in the sense that he was head and shoulders above everyone else, and that he was the people’s choice. There was an anointing on President Obama and he did accomplish some meaningful things. However, like Saul, compromise was found in him that ultimately did not please the Lord. For those who would point fingers, it is quite possible that a major reason for President Obama doing less than he could have is because of the “Christian” vitriol and lack of prayer covering over him. However, in the parallel analogy we find Saul’s last act being when he fell to the Philistines—in President Obama’s last act we see him capitulating to the Palestinians (modern-day Philistia) to the unjust detriment of Israel. President Obama was well spoken, seemed to manage his family well, was an inspiration for blacks and minorities world-wide, but he still served more as a Saul than a David.

TRUMP AS DAVID?

Though perhaps imperfectly, President Trump is as a David—specifically how David was as king. Whereas, Saul was a man of the people—David was a man chosen by God. God spoke to me, “I chose Trump because I know some things that none of you know.” Donald Trump was divinely chosen and placed in power by God, but because we cannot see the Ecclesiastes 3:11 “whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end,” many of us are presently confused or deceived. While this is all understandable based on Trump’s imperfections, it will ultimately hurt our own, personal "Promised Land" gains to not be in synch with God. If we never invited Him in to our processing there is a price to pay for that oversight and pride.

Though it may seem almost insulting to equate President Trump with David, it is only unreasonable when we forget David’s less ideal behavior.

David was a man of war from very young. He was never noted for his soft speech, nor his general “fruit of the Holy Spirit.” Even in defeating Goliath, he yelled back at Goliath and upped the ante to the words Goliath spoke to him by having an even more vicious response. He was quite vocal in his disputes with his opponents, and he did things like curse his own captain Joab with a most horrible, multigenerational curse.

“May the family of Joab be cursed in every generation with a man who has open sores or leprosy or who walks on crutches or dies by the sword or begs for food!”

(furthermore if they had done a direct proper translation he actually said, “may there be one who is effeminate in every generation.”)

Also as you read David’s “song of praise” to God in 2 Samuel 22, you see his strong identity in his responses with war and with quenching his enemies. He spoke often of having to be defended by God because his enemies were many. Beginning in verse 38 he said,

“I chased my enemies and destroyed them, I did not stop until they were conquered. I consumed them; I struck them so they did not get up; they fell beneath my feet...You placed my foot on their necks, I have destroyed all who hated me. (Christlike?)...They even cried to God, but He refused to answer. I ground them as fine as the dust of the earth, I trampled them in the gutter like dirt...Sovereign nations cringe before me; as soon as they hear of me, they submit. They all lose their courage and come trembling from their strongholds...He is God who pays back those who harm me; he brings down the nations under me.”

You see Trump has a similar call of God towards America’s destiny as to what David had on behalf of Israel. Through Trump God is drawing lines in the sand even for entire nations. The recent vote against the USA in the United Nations registered in heaven. Most of the nations chose to condemn Trump and the USA for stating that we would recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital—a fact already sanctioned in Congress over 20 years ago, but with no president that possesses the inner fortitude to stand up to the nations. Likewise, Trump’s obedience to declare Jerusalem as Israel’s eternal capital, as well as where we will now have our embassy located, resonated heavily in heaven. You have to leave it to God to judge the value of that as counterposed to Trump’s Twitter “meanness.” Because it is a time of war Trump is called to be rough sandpaper for things God is surfacing to be dealt with. The church needs to be the ministers of reconciliation, but it is not President Trump’s assignment—particularly at the front end of his term. Discernment is so critical at this time.

It was David who established Jerusalem as special, and he took it away from the Jebusites for good. It was David that made Israel strong and saw them defeat the Philistines, the Moabites, the Syrians, the Ammonites, and others (see 2 Sam. 8). It was win after win as he took on the nations. It was David that made Israel extremely wealthy, and from that wealth was able to contribute literally billions of dollars worth of resources to the building of the house of God that Solomon would build. Presently, Trump has the assignment to have Israel and Jerusalem protected and strengthened as well as the assignment to make America great in resources and in military might. The military might establishes and ensures that nations that are oppressed by despots may have freedom. It is the church that then carries the “tabernacle of David” part of the assignment to bring in the presence of God to it all. We can not confuse President Trump’s assignment with our own. Whether he lacks love in what he does or how he communicates—we cannot properly advance the Kingdom without love.

David was not primarily a man of peace. He was not a man of soft words. He had trouble and betrayal around him seemingly at all times. Goliath was his most famous adversary and he was the big mouth who froze Israel for 40 days as he took over the airways. He represents Media and David had to tame him before the Philistines could be routed.

David also had three sons who tried to take his throne. David was in almost constant relational conflict. Saul was actually a better family man than David, or at least had less brokenness around him. David's captain also turned on him—remember as well, Shimei and then Sheba. Everyone was seemingly out to get him, and his enemies were many—partially because his assignment was great and partially because relationships were not his strength.

Ultimately all his enemies were decimated because they came against he who was anointed by God for a special mission—a special mission that took into account his failings, including that he was also going to be one who did the Bathsheba thing and the Uriah thing. In David’s day if you assumed you could bash him and be against him because of his failings you would be fighting against God. It never justifies the sins, and there are always consequences (as David had), but God has always had to anoint that which wasn’t perfect—and then work on perfecting him while he is on assignment. The hypocrisy for the church is that up until now we have had almost no vision, priority, or preparation for the mountain of government—yet we want to be the first to bash everyone who God has to pick from. We have to change that. Besides Jesus, God has never sent perfect vessels from heaven, but always picks from the available pool of people on earth. Don’t blame Him for His choices until and unless we upgrade the pool of prospects He has to chose from.

NEXT AS SOLOMON?

I believe that after President Trump will be a leader who will encompass the best aspects of King Solomon. Solomon (means “peace”) of course was David’s son and it was he who was commissioned to build the house of God. David wanted to do that as well, but was told that he was a "man of war” with some blood on his hands—not qualified for that assignment. Solomon was the man who asked for wisdom and then reigned in peace and prosperity during his time as king. This will be the assignment for the next president of the USA, and I believe it is even somewhat obvious who it is supposed to be. He carries peace and wisdom even now, and his last named is actually peace, except for one letter being different. Am I prophesying that he will be next? Well, I am prophesying that is what I believe that I have been shown. Can things mess it up so it doesn’t happen? I don’t think so, but I suppose only God knows the answer to that question. I do know that as a nation we are presently more in the midst of a force of destiny from God than most are aware of. He is still Sovereign, which doesn’t mean He chooses everything that happens, but that He CAN do so if and when He wants to.

Solomon enjoyed the advancements that David made for him and for Israel. Israel was now strong enough that surrounding enemies didn’t dare move on Israel, because they remembered what happened under David. There was peace by strength, not peace by negotiating prowess. As long as wickedness abounds in the nations of the world God will be using “peace by strength.” Also because of the unprecedented prosperity the nations and the queen of Sheba came to see Solomon and Israel. Israel and the United States have an overlapping joint-destiny, and the future for both is perhaps unmatchable prosperity. The enemy has attempted to surreptitiously prosper the enemies of Israel and America, but they will either repent from being enemies or they will have a crushing loss of resources, much like what happened to Venezuela through Hugo Chavez immediately after he cursed Israel. A great restoration is coming for Venezuela but they paid the price for repeatedly voting in Chavez as president.

So a “time of peace” is coming for America, but until that does we must access the peace internally and become the ministers of reconciliation that we are called to be.

GOD’S NARRATIVE

Perhaps where the church is most distant from Him is in knowing His storyline and His narrative. As Bobby Connor will often say, “we are way too familiar with a God we barely know.” We are growing in our knowledge of Him, which is good, but it is still our greatest poverty. Seemingly half the church seems to think He is more about rules and commandments than about love and kindness, but the good news is we are shifting. Those that finally get that He is about love often don’t know there is an accompanying story-line that goes with it that must be fulfilled. If you don’t grasp the concept of His faithfulness to Abraham and by extension Israel, you are going to miss Him a lot, even if you know He is all about love. His love extends multi-generationally in ways that are difficult for us to comprehend. He values friendship and that’s also something we don’t have much of a grid for. Our entire existence here on earth includes us learning to discern His heart, His story, His narrative, and agreeing with it. It will always be about love, but there is a big-picture love story also being played out that can’t be ignored in the details. It is why Jesus could tell Peter “Get behind me Satan” when Peter insisted Jesus didn’t need to go to the cross. Peter sounded loving towards Jesus, but He was ignorant of the greater love story (the cross) he was seeking to do damage to. Our God’s narrative (think movie script) includes Israel, Jerusalem, the 7 mountains, cities and nations, and He can think about each with as much passion as He does for an individual. We don’t naturally know how to do that. He wept over Jerusalem and expressed His passion for her as a city. We must learn first of all to love—then we must learn to love at the same micro and macro level that He does. He recognizes the souls of cities and nations as well as the souls of individuals, and He is now prioritizing them as never before.

LAST WORD ON TRUMP

As we begin to understand the God who works a big-picture narrative we then see the brilliance of Him choosing a man named Trump to be the game-changer in history. Psalm 47:5 says, “God has gone up with the sound of the trump.” Isaiah 18:3 says, “when He blows a trumpet, hear it!”. Zech. 9:14 says, “The Lord God will blow the trump and march in the storms of the south.” Joshua 6:5 says, “when you hear the sound of the trump...go straight forward.” Neh. 4:20 says, “When you hear the sound of the trump rush to wherever it is sounding. Then our God will fight for us!”

A trumpet sound comes in to signify that a great change is here. Even the "last trump” of 1 Cor. 15 is to announce that, “we shall all be changed.” God is sounding His Trump and He is saying “time for change!” A time of war means a time of change. It means conquest time. Perhaps the most overused prophetic term is “breakthrough” and it will probably be in several different prophetic words for 2018. It is used so much that it seems to have lost its value. However, this year the Lord really does have breakthroughs that He wants to hand out as party favors everywhere. It is appropriately enough that King David who encountered Him as Lord of Breakthroughs. In 2 Samuel 6:20 he tells how the Lord delivered the Philistines into his hand and so he named the place Baal Perazim, which means "Lord of Breakthroughs”--as he proclaimed, “The Lord has broken through my enemies!” This is in fact what God does have for each and every one of us as we embrace the season, the leadership, and the assignment He has placed before us.

WALL STREET

For those reading this whole word you will already know that I will speak positively of the Stock Market. However, to accommodate those who just scrolled down to this part let me make it clear that I do think the market can still go up substantially as one of the signs of economic health and prosperity. I do not believe that the market overall is overpriced, and I see it going up to 30,000 in Trump’s day—and that may not even be its limit. There will be a great boost to the economy from the new tax laws, as well as from Trump’s economic declarations. Many of you who have heard that it will be bad for the poor or middle class will soon enough have first-hand proof that this is not so. You were a “victim” of distorted news. Of course with it all, Wall Street itself still needs ongoing reform, but that too will begin to be spliced in at an accelerated pace. It is a season of profound reformation.

CRYPTOCURRENCIES

The Bit Coin and an apparent tsunami of cryptocurrencies are all the rage right now. Many kingdom friends are involved in them in some way or another, and I am frequently asked about them. I can neither condemn nor fully endorse them. A simple reality is that the economic dynamic of the dark kingdom is fear and greed (Mammon). Gods economic kingdom works on the dynamic of faith and trust. Both entail risk, but only one of those risks is a kingdom- sanctioned risk. If the reason you are investing or running with the new cryptocurrencies is because of fear or greed then that is not really a kingdom venture, even if you make a lot of money.

I know that many are fearful that the dollar is going to collapse and so that fear motivation has them looking for another more stable currency. There is nothing stable about any of the cryptocurrencies. ALL currencies are ultimately “fiat" currencies and there is no getting around that. The only stable currency on the planet is trust in God. All other currencies whether dollar, gold-based, or blockchain-based contain some unknowable measure of volatility. Just watch how the Bit Coin jumps up and down daily and you will know that it is an extremely volatile fiat currency of its own.

Having said that, there is a unique opportunity to make (or lose) a lot of money in short order with these currencies, and God could lead someone into that market—if not you are just gambling. Ironically the unintended consequence of the cryptocurrency rage has been to longterm stabilize both the dollar (yes, I know it is presently lower) and Wall Street investments, as they are now that which contain the lower volatility when diversified. Much of the ever-feared bubble has been transposed into the cryptocurrency world. It is a whole new wild-card dynamic that has created another asset base, and its explosive possibilities are exciting. It is generating millions and billions of dollars of value out of essentially thin air, and that too is a dynamic of hope-filled economic atmospheres. Hope literally generates money, and it is the most important economic asset at a macro level. Therefore when a President regularly tells us that the economy is doing well and is going to do even better it literally has a stimulant effect.

WEALTH TRANSFER?

A coming “wealth transfer” is talked about a lot in our circles. The Iraqi dinar, a multitude of pyramid schemes, as well as the aforementioned cryptocurrencies are often brought into the conversation as the vehicle for how the wealth transfer is coming. Prophets are often part of these groups or a chief spokesman for it. Unfortunately the recent history of the last 10-15 years has seen very good people and ministries lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in these “sure thing” ventures. So I have a word of wisdom for whomever has an ear to hear. Any investment that is predicated on either a monumental collapse or a monumental recovery—doubt it. The Iraqi dinar becoming valuable has always required the Muslim world to become stable and that is not happening in the majority of Muslim countries, and thus almost no Muslim currency is ever going to jump 10 or 20 times in value, no matter how much oil or other resource is there. Volatile governments keep a currency volatile, no matter how much resource is there. Likewise, if you are counting on the monumental collapse of the US dollar for your financial bonanza it is not going to happen. God partially put Trump in power to stabilize the US dollar and the US economy, so that the world economy becomes more stable. It is the devil trying to kill the dollar, the US economy, and the world economy—so don’t agree with a plan that counts on those dynamics.

The big, missing ingredient I am finding in those who perceive they are called into significant kingdom finances is their lack of present willingness to put their money where their mouth is. I see many aspiring "kingdom financiers" in reality giving nothing or very little to kingdom people and projects while constantly speaking of how much they are going to be giving. They explain how they need all their present thousands and millions to get to the next level. I see the ones that God is actually prospering with next-level income are those who already heavily invest in financing kingdom activity, even as they contend for the greater breakthrough.

Great resources are being released in this season into the house of God, but your stewardship with your first level of breakthrough will determine if you get the ultimate upgrade you were designed to step into. In the same way you analyze stocks and markets to determine investment intelligence you need to be looking around at all that goes by the name “Christian” and discern what is actually a good kingdom soil for you to sow into. We don’t need anymore “Left Behind” projects sown into, as it is the wrong narrative of the day. Many of you will find your future financial harvest determined by your ability to discern what is a God priority for you to sow into now. Future ministers of wealth will not just be gifted in making money but in recognizing the forerunner and front-runner thing that God is saying to sow into.

CALIFORNIA

I will need to do a whole post on this, but for now let me just say the onus of God is on California and great, great change is coming to this, the most populous state of the nation. The greatest fire in California history is still burning in an area where many Hollywood superstars have mansions—this after LA experienced its biggest fire ever earlier in the year. The Santa Ana (Holy Grace) winds have blown stronger than ever this year, and from the great Napa fires to many more fires it has been an unprecedented year all across the state. Related to the “Harvey Weinstein effect” Hollywood is in absolute implosion and reformation, and that will continue and go to a deep enough level that in time it really will be called “Holywood.” Great good will be released to the world through that which is called Hollywood as the anointed sons and daughters of the King of Kings will begin to bring true creativity accompanied with overwhelming presence into Hollywood. Sooner than we think we will pinch ourselves in amazement at the world-wide kingdom advancements through Hollywood.

Great change is also coming to the political spectrum. Sacramento is about to experience major exposures of sin and corruption in so many places that it will cause heads to spin. Millions and perhaps billions of dollars have been being used in ways most the citizenry has had no idea about. Clean up is coming. The gut reflex reaction will be so strong in the state that it will cause an overturning of the entire dominant political party. Neither established party is clean right now, but out of this will come surprising, new, unprecedented political developments that will eventually go nationwide. California for all its liberal reputation is the state that led with drawing a line in the sand on the sexual harassment issue, and they are going to again surprise with the new playing field they demand in government.

While many in California and elsewhere are holding out for another “Jesus Movement,” God has something much more encompassing in mind than just having a few thousand getting saved and baptized. Reformation is coming and it will be great. It will include revival, but it will be greater than revival and not worthy to be called only revival. Redding and Bethel will have a significant role to play in this, and they will be the volcano from which non-stop fire goes to the rest of the state and nations. I have spoken into that before, but things are about to get kingdom-exciting up there. We are just a few years away from a totally unrecognizable California, and it is going to be good. There is no doubt that God can say to California as He said to Peter, "Satan has desired to sift you as wheat, BUT I have prayed for you.” Jesus has prayed for California and He will be rewarded.

ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM

I already spoke into that in measure, but just to say again this is of highest priority of heaven right now. The recent recognizing of Jerusalem as capital and the subsequent rejection of that by most nations will resonate for a long time. Obadiah 1:15 says “as you have done to Israel it will be done to you.” This will be begin to play out in increasingly obvious ways, providing instruction to the nations of the world as to our God’s ways. Disrespecting Israel is like disrespecting a mother. God just doesn’t sanction it, no matter how imperfect the mother. Israel, because of God’s covenant with Abraham, became our parent for every good thing including the eternal life that came to us through He who was a descendant of Abraham. Without Abraham and Israel there is no Jesus, as Mary and Joseph both were Israelites. So yes, Palestinians are also beloved of God, but their land rights are preceded and super-ceded by Israel’s right to the land that God covenanted to Abraham and Israel forever. When that is not respected it is not just a dishonoring of Israel but a dishonoring of God. This is where it is not all just about “love” in general, but about God’s big love story. The revealing of that love story is progressive and our part is to discern it, desire to see it, and agree with it.

NORTH KOREA

I was recently in South Korea and prophesied that I had seen that “NOW God” was about to intervene and take out Kim Jong-Un. I sensed it so strongly I honestly felt that the NOW would have already taken place. His NOW’s always seem to have more elasticity than my NOW’s, but I still believe this will happen soon. I believe that President Trump has been anointed to keep pressure on Kim Jong-Un until he breaks one way or the other. It is time for a new “One Korea” that is South Korea based. A “One Korea” will have a major role in the world harvest.

IRAN

Whereas Kim Jong-Un is like the reactive, rebellious teenager that let’s you know everything he is thinking, Iran and its leadership are more sinister and long-term dangerous, specifically so since they are empowered by a strong anti-semitic and anti-christ principality. President Trump is also called to circle around them with pressure and more pressure until they too are dealt with. Dealing with Iran is part of the protect and honor Israel assignment that we carry as a nation. There is a great on-fire, underground church in Iran that is becoming a game changer in that nation. They will eventually flip the nation from goat to sheep nation.

FAMILY BREAKTHROUGHS

One of the areas where we will see great breakthroughs in 2018 is in the area of family. Beyond what I can explain, a great grace for family is being made available and we will find family and the mountain of family greatly affected in a positive way. Somehow the overall climate of conflict is going to be conducive to allowing God in at a new way in relationships. The present new sensitivity to women is a precursor to this, and this whole dynamic will be a treasure to look for in 2018. Many delayed, relational promises will find a happy ending in 2018.

PEACE IN AN AGE OF DISRUPTION

Though God has placed a “man of war” as President of our nation, and though we are in an age of disruption, it will still be very possible and very advantageous to be people of peace. “Blessed are the peacemakers” will never have a more relevant time. Jesus is still the Prince of Peace for every season and as He promises, His peace is the peace that surpasses understanding. We are entering into an accelerated season of disruption with breakthroughs in areas like artificial intelligence (ai) and virtual reality (vr) starting to be all around game-changers. It will not always be necessary to understand everything going on, but it will be advisable to always be holding the hand of the One who does. No disruption will outpace His capability to be ten steps ahead. Then the Holy Spirit is Disruptive Technology personified. He is the Spirit of Truth with counsel and wisdom for every potential new scenario. We may often be in “recalculate mode” as our original GPS systems were, but He is the One that always knows what our Global Positioning needs to be. Without Him we can do NOTHING. But with Him literally ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. This is the faith, hope, and love we are to set ourselves to, and we can anticipate a 2018 of great victories and multiple breakthroughs. He is Lord of Breakthroughs and happy is the one who puts his trust in Him. As you do—a great 2018 is secured for you. Set your mind to prosper.

AZUSA NOW 2016: CONVERGENCE OF THE AGES AND THE HARVEST GLORY ANGEL by Johnny Enlow

At various times throughout history, Christians have filled stadiums, packed-out key locations, and coordinated events involving millions, yet none have seemed to lead to a sustained move of God. Many were important events in their own right, but didn't translate into an actual movement. It's important to know that, whether you're able to attend or not, I believe what will be released at Azusa Now on April 9th in the Los Angeles Coliseum will be different. A convergence of the ages will come into full synchronicity and will mark a change to life as we know it.

The word convergence is insightful, as one of its meanings is a location where airflow or ocean currents meet. The location is Los Angeles and the timing of this convergence is April 9th, with secondary convergences occurring afterwards all across the United States and the globe. We are in a true Year of Jubilee (every 50 years) that has the uniqueness of being the 40th Jubilee since Jesus walked the earth and the 70th Jubilee since Joshua and Caleb led Israel across the Jordan River into the Promised Land.

Azusa Now is a sign that we've already experienced a shift that we've been hoping for. This event will not only cause an acceleration, but will also be evidence that we're already in the throes of a divine catalytic convergence of the ages. Yes, it's that big. I don't think it's coincidental that the same day, on the opposite coast, 30,000 pastors and leaders will gather to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the Azusa Street Revival in Washington DC at United Cry DC16. In July, another one million Christians are also expected at a prayer event in DC. All of these happening in the same year are signs that a precursor breakthrough has begun. The kingdom age has converged on us as never before! Associated with this long anticipated season, God has impressed on me that He is sending a very great angel into our midst in the Los Angeles Coliseum on April 9th to release a multitude into the glory of harvest -- not just the harvesting of souls, but also of nations.

The Harvest Glory Angel

Before I explain what God showed me about the angel, let me try to circumvent the religious uproar that often comes when anyone speaks about present-day angels. First of all, why is it okay to speak of the devil and his cronies by their names (Satan, Beelzebub, Baal, Mammon, Jezebel, Apollyon etc.) and it's not okay to speak of created angelic beings on our side? Telling about our side with some detail is designed to personalize what we Biblically already know about angels who surround us. Personalizing them serves to impact and encourage us in a greater way. To name an angel doesn't mean we're worshipping it any more than naming your child leads you into worshipping your child. It's an identification marker of importance that speaks a message of its own. Angels are mentioned over 300 times in the Bible with over 160 of those references in the New Testament. Angels didn't stop existing or leave the earth after the New Testament. We need to stop allowing religious mindsets to steal our inheritance of partnering with angels. It's not coincidental that the Azusa Revival took place in Los Angeles (Spanish for The Angels), as well as the upcoming Azusa Now. I believe Los Angeles will eventually be known specifically as the City of Angels because of the confirmed increase of angelic activity there.

This harvest glory angel has been prophetically shown to me, as well as to a longtime friend of mine and unknown prophet. The Lord spoke to me that the angel's nickname is Harvey, obviously connected to the harvest. I was led to look up the meaning and discovered it's a Celtic name that means eager for battle. God has been progressively revealing who he is and what he's being released to do. I believe Harvey was initially activated in the Azusa Street Revival of 1906, is about 4 stories tall, has a golden-orange hue, and hoists a huge sickle that seems to function as an extension of who he is. He serves and works with the Holy Spirit in harvesting souls and nations. My impression is that this great angel has been disappointed for a long time because he was originally sent to do much more than what he has been able to accomplish on earth. Spiritually authorized leaders, under the influence of a religious and political spirit, have prevented him from rendering his full service. 

Harvey has been around since at least 1906. I was shown that he has the single-handed ability to affect our entire nation, not just through revival, salvations, and healing -- but also through everything that's related to the transformation of society in every area of culture. He is heavily endowed with presence, healing, finances, creativity, and innovation and has already left an indelible imprint on our past revivals and Holy Spirit outpourings. This harvest glory angel has always been connected to moves and waves of the Holy Spirit. I believe he was given enough power and resources during the Azusa Street Revival to prevent our nation from experiencing the Great Depression, if he had he been given full rein. His ability to positively affect our economy is profound, especially if we realize the supernatural help we're being offered.

My friend and I were directed by the Holy Spirit to an address where the angel has been put on assignment, which we discovered was on the grounds of Vanguard University and the Costa Mesa Church. What was unusual is that this angel is stationed, not inside of a church or chapel, but within a walled area that no one can get into without a key. When we looked through the cracks we saw it's where all of the power transformers are located for that area. We began to understand that Harvey is a transformation angel and has been given the ability to supernaturally generate billions, and perhaps trillions of dollars effortlessly. After some research, we discovered that a large percentage of millionaires/billionaires live and work within a 50 mile radius of where he is stationed in Costa Mesa. I am certain that this angel’s presence is highly responsible for that fact. 

The upcoming activation of the harvest glory angel is going to be nothing less than game-changing. It's the Lord’s joy to use a faithful and valiant angelic servant of His to display great glory. The kingdom of God is like a treasure hid in the field. Harvey is an amazing treasure that's been hidden. He's about to have a coming-out party of sorts that will produce Kingdom funding for Hollywood movies and projects, for major medical breakthroughs, and for all sorts of new technologies and inventions. Every one of the seven mountains of society will be impacted by what this angel releases in Southern California -- through government, education, family, religion, arts and entertainment, economy, and media. To give you an idea of this angel's capabilities, the following eleven individuals/ministries are some who I believe have been greatly assisted by the harvest glory angel through the direction of the Holy Spirit -- all of whom have been geographically connected within a 50 mile radius of where he's stationed in Costa Mesa, California.

William Seymour was an African-American pastor who led the Azusa Street Revival from 1906 to 1915. More than 20,000 Holy Spirit-friendly denominations have exploded from those days, with a current world count of 700 million Spirit-filled believers. I believe this great angel was specifically sent to Seymour and was working alongside him intensely during these days, but was actually sent for so much more. William Seymour and the Azusa Revival were essentially cut short by a religious spirit and an associated political spirit that ultimately disrupted the movement and caused Seymour’s heart attack. My friend heard the word “co-opted.” The word co-opt means to divert or use in a role different from the original one and it seems this has happened repeatedly. This angel has been co-opted time and again from it’s original mission.

Aimee Semple McPherson was an amazing woman of God who founded the Foursquare denomination. She came to LA in 1918 right after the end of the Azusa Revival. Her ministry was unprecedented and historic. Many still don’t have a grasp of just how impacting a minister and personality she was. For years in Hollywood and around the world she was even more famous than the top movie stars who would come by the masses to her meetings at Angelus Temple. Aimee operated in the power of the Holy Spirit and saw thousands of remarkable healings, but also was on the cutting edge of creative ways to present the gospel. I believe this harvest glory angel assisted her in significant ways and helped expand her influence into every area of society. She too was prematurely shut down through the religious and political spirits that have been strongholds in Southern California. The greatest extinguishers of the Holy Spirit’s advance in California have always been fellow Christians under the perverse influence of religion and politics. 

Billy Graham was an unknown new evangelist until he came and hosted revival meetings in the LA area, causing his fame to explode nationally and then across the world. I believe Harvey the angel participated in Graham's accelerated favor as he led more people to Christ than anyone in history.

The Assemblies of God is the largest Pentecostal denomination on the planet and it was birthed out of the Azusa Street Revival. They now number in excess of 67 million around the globe and have led more people to Christ than any other denomination. The above mentioned Vanguard University and the Costa Mesa Church are part of the Assemblies of God. I am convinced that many pastors, missionaries, and leaders who came through these institutions received an impartation from this great angel. George O. Wood, the present President of the denomination, was the Senior Pastor at Costa Mesa Church for 17 years.

Demos Shakarian, founder of the Full Gospel Business Mens' Fellowship (FGBMFI) in 1952, was from Downey, CA (30 miles from Costa Mesa). This ministry of the Holy Spirit to businessmen was a precursor movement that led to our present understanding of the seven mountain mandate to reform culture. Demos became very wealthy himself and his ministry has been quite influential, which I believe was connected to the harvest glory angel.

Lonnie Frisbee was born in Costa Mesa in 1949 and is the single person most identified with and responsible for the Jesus Movement that shook California, the nation, and the world. Lonnie encountered God supernaturally in 1967 when he was transformed from a lost drug addict into the figure-head leader of a movement that baptized thousands right off the beaches of Costa Mesa. He was a lover of Jesus who operated in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and played an integral part in the birthing of the Calvary Chapel and Vineyard denominations.

John Wimber, founder of the Vineyard denomination, had a worldwide ministry which brought an entirely new model of Christianity to our generation, categorized by signs and wonders available to and through all believers. On Mother’s Day 1980, in Yorba Linda, CA (about 20 miles from Costa Mesa), Lonnie Frisbee was a guest speaker at Wimber's church. Lonnie prayed a simple prayer, “Come Holy Spirit!” and forever changed his and the Vineyard Churches' destiny. He also pastored the Anaheim Vineyard, which is about 12 miles from Costa Mesa. So much more could be said about this, but I believe he also worked in tandem with this great harvest glory angel.

Chuck Smith was the founder of Calvary Chapel and witnessed his church rise from a handful to about 10,000, becoming a movement after about three years of Lonnie Frisbee’s ministry. Smith was based out of Costa Mesa and evidently helped by Harvey the harvest glory angel.

Greg Laurie, a mega-church pastor and evangelist, was radically converted through Lonnie Frisbee’s ministry. His ministry is called Harvest and he recently hosted a crusade of over 80,000 people in Dallas, Texas. He has lead over 450,000 to the Lord in his crusades since 1990. I saw a vision of the harvest glory angel slapping his hand against Greg’s head, leaving a mark of his golden-orange glory.

Heidi Baker is an extraordinary woman of God who's affected the world by the testimony of what God has done through her ministry in Mozambique. As the Lord was speaking to me about Harvey the angel, I saw a picture of Heidi and this angel slapping her on the head with the same golden glory impartation. I then saw the number 59 and knew that she was born in 1959, even though I had never seen that information before. When I did check into her bio, I not only saw that she was born in 1959, but that she attended Vanguard University, as did her husband Rolland. Yet another geographical connection to this angel’s station and activity.

TBN is the largest religious television network in the world. Whether you agree with all that is broadcast there or not, the reality is that this Holy Spirit focused ministry has been used powerfully by God in countless lives all over the world and is, not coincidentally, based in Costa Mesa. 

This great harvest glory angel has been radiating from his post in Costa Mesa, California for over 100 years -- releasing ministers, ministries, and movements of the Holy Spirit around the globe. The list I have made is just some of the better known carriers of the harvest glory of God that has been made available to us for the purpose of partnering with God in the restoration of all things.

A Transformation Generation Will Now Be Released

Because we have entered into a time of the convergence of the ages, we are now going to see a generation of Holy Spirit infused believers released. The mantles and anointing of people like Billy Graham, Heidi Baker, Aimee Semple McPherson, William Seymour, John Wimber, and Lonnie Frisbee etc, are going to be released by the hundreds and maybe thousands in one generation. This means exponential multiplication. Much of that will commence this April 9th in the Los Angeles Coliseum. There's something to be said about geographic proximity. The Coliseum is about 40 miles from Costa Mesa and well within the working radius of this angel. Again, this isn't meant to be about becoming overly conscious of angels, it's about valuing and honoring the resource that God Himself created and sent to help us accomplish His purposes in the earth. Harvey is a kingdom asset, part of the angel armies of heaven, sent to do and release great things. God wants us to value His angels in the same way we would value any of these above mentioned names. It's all under the careful oversight and preeminent presence of the Holy Spirit and is one of the ways He will be pouring out of His Spirit on all flesh.

Usually great moves of God are realized after the fact. This time God wants us to recognize what He's doing and our part in it as history makers ahead of time. The greatest move of God ever recorded is upon us. Though what God will release on April 9th will be much greater than the Presidency, it will connect directly to who He puts into the office of the President of the U.S. in the upcoming election. What will be released and ignited will end up settling over the White House. The DC United Cry event will also open up DC and the east coast to what God is releasing on the west coast. By honoring what God did geographically on the opposite coast, it will quickly release the new things God is doing out west into the east. It's a total catalytic convergence of Holy Spirit-centric presence and power for this nation and the world. For the same reason He chose to use Los Angeles back in 1906, He will do so again in 2016. 110 years later, He's connecting us to 110 "volts" of transformational power that will restore His correct reputation in the earth through His advancing kingdom into every area of culture. The Father will be seen as the God of All of Life who cares about every problem that exists, loves us extravagantly, and displays His kindness that then leads to repentance -- through His sons and daughters. Sons and daughters that have been touched by His harvest glory and are so convinced of His goodness and love, that those sons and daughters who don't yet know that they are His, will be drawn to the power of the Holy Spirit and the love of the Father that we daily walk in. May it be so! In unity may we proclaim, "Come Holy Spirit!"

Redding, Redding, the day of the Lord is upon you- and it is a good day. I am about to change your very DNA in such a wholesale way that it will baffle the minds of even the most hopeful among you. I am coming into your local government and I will turn over every stone. I will make it a place where corruption and self-seeking can not exist. Your city councils will be invaded by my glory and by my fear. A fear of the Lord is coming into your city councils to such a point that lying, cheating and bribing can not even exist. I will displace wolves and I will fill your city councils with My shepherds.

Redding, Redding, I will also now come in and I will heal your economy. I am coming in and I will create jobs- out of thin air. I will do this because I can do this. It is well within my creative abilities. I am also putting my magnet on you as a city and you will begin to attract investment as never before. National money is coming to you. International money is coming to you. Chinese money is coming to you. Japanese money is coming to you. Indian money is coming to you. You are going to become a retirement haven. You’re going to get an upgraded airport. You’re going to get many new flights. An airline will make you a new hub. Industry, technology, arts and entertainment are coming to you and will thrive. Play houses will spring up all over your city. I will erase the memory of your ancient name of Poverty Flats, as I am sentencing you to 30 years of progressive prosperity.

Redding, Redding, you will become a city of red roses and red flowers, a city of beautiful parks. Out of you will come a heavenly oil and a heavenly dew and it will pour down into the rest of the state. I am coming to you with grace and glory and I will shatter your spirit of poverty. I am going to change your story. I am coming in not just to heal you in church, but I will heal your 7 mountains. As a sign to bring you to rejoice, I will begin to cause my rainbows to exponentially increase among you. You will even see rainbows when it seems naturally impossible. When you see my rainbows remember that this is my promise over you that I am coming in to change everything. I am coming to reform everything. I am coming to transform everything. I have heard your prayers, I have seen your tears, I’m responding to your faith- and the time is now.”

Vision of 50 ft. Blue Wave, Invasion of the Lord and Angels by Johnny Enlow

A couple nights ago, while at worship at Higher Vision Church here in Valencia, CA, I had an amazing vision. I first saw an immense blue wave coming in and I instantly heard that it was a "50 ft. wave". I then saw a figure in yellow that was surfing and coming in on that wave. I knew instantly that it was the Lord.

As I looked to His face I saw eyes of burning fire. I knew the fire in His eyes was love. The Lord was within the coming wave but I was then able to see the crest of the wave itself. Myriads and myriads of angels were coming on the wave. I then saw the wave crash onto Los Angeles and I knew everything was about to change with this invasion as the blue water crashed in and seemed to go everywhere.

Interpretation: 

I believe a massive wave of the Holy Spirit is about to break upon us. Blue is the color of revelation and also represents the work of the Holy Spirit. 50 is the number for Jubilee and as I have shared earlier this is a true Jubilee year that happens every 50 years. Pentecost was also 50 days after Passover and so this number is connected inextricably to an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The color yellow we have associated with God as Creator, in our book Rainbow God: The Seven Colors of Love.

I believe something very powerful is about to come upon us and the first part of it is on us. This blue wave is already beginning to splash on us as prophetic revelation, visions, dreams and encounters have skyrocketed just since the turn of the year. So many of my prophetic friends have seen an incredible up-tick in what they are seeing and experiencing.

Furthermore early reports of extended meetings are coming from several sources as healing, presence and glory are being reported. An appetite for prayer and unity is coming in. People are being led "to fast" to fast-forward what is coming in both for them and corporately.

The Lord is dressed in yellow because He is coming in as the Creative One. He is coming into Hollywood. He is coming in with millions of angels. The City of Angels is going to experience its namesake. There is an invasion of Heaven coming in and what I saw for Los Angeles is symbolic of what I believe is going to be replayed all over the place. Revelation and creativity is about to hit His prophets, intercessors and creatives.

The most anointed songs in history are about to come out in this next season as this wave is going to hit worshippers and songwriters and musicians – and we will see its evidence in the songs developed at this time. Everything prophetic is about to go to an unprecedented level.

I saw a snap vision of a multitude of eagles flying with purpose – and I heard that we have the largest contingent of prophets ever on the planet and they are now being released into the streets of our cities as prophets of love and power. These are not just for revival but they will be for reformation. They will go into every mountain of society. These prophets are an army of eagles that don't need the titles but just the evidence.

I believe that there is some timing and connection as well with the Azusa Now event scheduled here at the Los Angeles Coliseum for April 9. A stadium that holds 110,000 is going to be filled with Believers from every tongue and tribe – and signs and wonders will break out. The event will not be even near the entirety of what God is doing but it will be reflective and responsive to what God is doing. 

God is not really responding to our initiative on this one. We are responding to His initiative. The heart to pray, unite, fast and love that we couldn't drum up – is now going to be poured out on us. He made a decision that in this Year of Jubilee, He would visit His people in a special way – and He would punish the enemy in a special way. I agree with Bill Hamon that God has declared World War III on the enemy, and further more I see we are going to be in a Kingdom romp for at least the next 50 years. Actually I think much longer.

There is a lot of ground to take and it is going to happen front and center on the world stages. What is coming in is coming in for a long time. We are going to be set on fire by the fire in His eyes.

2016: A TRUE YEAR OF JUBILEE by Johnny Enlow

Trump, the Presidency, Muslims, the Economy, and Justice

We’re entering another phenomenal year of unprecedented kingdom advancement. Many markers tell us that 2016 is a very special year. It’s a Leap Year, a Presidential Election year for America, and a most unique Year of Jubilee. 2016 also comes at the beginning of what is forecast to be the biggest El Nino weather phenomenon ever. Furthermore, this is all taking place in an era of renaissance in the knowledge of God and in the age of the restoration of all things (Acts 3:21). 

A Prophetic Review of 2015

Obviously it’s become clear that the doomsday scenarios predicted for the United States during the months of September through December haven’t taken place. The economy didn’t collapse. We weren’t hit by a catastrophic meteorite. There weren’t any destructive earthquakes or tsunamis. The rapture didn’t occur. We aren’t under martial law. Isis didn’t bring our country to its knees and neither Russia nor China invaded.

Instead, an estimated 100 million people became followers of Jesus Christ, including perhaps up to a half-million Muslims, those this comes from sources that can’t be quoted. The number of Holy Spirit-filled believers (700 million) reached almost one in ten on the planet, which is the highest ever. The extreme poverty rate in the world dropped to its lowest ever, abortions dropped to almost one half the rate they were in 1990. Divorce rates continued their recent substantial drop. Teen pregnancies decreased to their lowest rate since 1940, when statistics were first recorded. (see p. 52 of my book, The Seven Mountain Renaissance, for cited sources) Many incorrectly perceived the signs of the historic blood moons, the upcoming jubilee season, and the warmest year ever recorded for the planet. What they thought portended to disaster, instead spoke of an acceleration of the advancing kingdom of God. 

While many fretted and announced the advancement of Satan’s kingdom, the reality is that our Father’s kingdom showed up on the world’s stages in unprecedented ways. Allow me to give you some real-life examples. In Hollywood, faith-themed movies made over 300 million dollars. In fact, a whole stream of faith-based movies are on their way. Perhaps even more significant than that, is the fact that billions of box office dollars in 2015 came from hit movies that promoted the kingdom values of courage, redemption, honor, forgiveness, integrity, and love. It’s become common on the various singing/dancing reality shows for Christians to be celebrated for their excellence and anointing. Jordan Smith was the winner of The Voice through his amazing performances of “Mary Did You Know?” and “Great is Thy Faithfulness.” Jennifer Phillips from XFactor UK brought the judges and crowd to its feet when she sang Mary Mary’s worship song“Shackles.” The anointing is truly being showcased on the biggest platforms of the world and you can see it visibly affect the judges and the audience. We’ve watched Justin Bieber awaken to his call as he recently expressed in a Rolling Stone interview that he just wants to be like Jesus. His latest album, “Purpose,” is full of references to God and Justin’s desire to connect a generation to Him. It’s becoming cool in Hollywood to go to Bible Studies and to have a pastor. The whole entertainment industry is in the midst of an extreme makeover and it’s creating unprecedented opportunities for the King’s kids who know their assignment to bring glory to His name. A great example of this is Tyler Perry, a Christian who’s an excellent movie producer and businessman, and has become a key player and heavyweight in the industry in recent years. A brand new complex heavily advanced by Chick Fil A owners, called Pinewood Studios in southern Atlanta, has suddenly become the place to film movies. It’s now known as Atlanta’s 6 billion dollar film industry — and it’s believers who are making the big difference. The shift in the last three years alone has been monumental and it’s all just getting started. We’re headed to a time when it will be more of the exception when an award or a prize doesn't go to an open follower of Jesus Christ. Papa’s show time has just begun!

We can see the same trend in the major sports’ platforms as well. Derek Henry of Alabama, winner of the Heisman Trophy, spoke in his acceptance speech boldly of his love for God and how he prays to Him every day. Dabo Sweeney, coach of the undefeated #1 Clemson team, began his comments after the big Orange Bowl win by thanking God for His goodness and stated his desire to give Him glory. Boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao, is also very overt in his love for God. Recent surprise UFC world championship winner, Holly Holm, was referred to as “the preachers daughter.” PGA Tour, 21 year-old sensation, and player of the year Jordan Spieth is a believer. NBA MVP, Stephen Curry, is an avowed believer, as are many of his NBA Champion Golden State Warriors teammates. 24 of the starting 32 quarterbacks in the NFL, including Russell Wilson, Drew Brees, Aaron Rogers, and Peyton Manning are followers of Jesus. World best soccer team, Barcelona, has the 2015 breakout star Neymar, who is an open follower of Jesus. I could go on and on, but the point is, while many have been obsessing with the giants in the land, it was a breakout year on the world stages for sons and daughters of the Most High. It’s already at an unprecedented level and this will continue to be the prevailing trend.

Furthermore, a huge shift is taking place within Christianity itself that many are worried about, but it’s a good thing. This shift is away from sin-awareness and fear towards grace-consciousness and hope. Those who tend to be more sin-focused may be tempted to panic over this trend, but be assured that this a good and necessary one. What you focus on you make room for. We’ve been highlighting sin for centuries and reaped accordingly. We’re now seeing a shift and movement to let grace rule and we’re going to see the fruit of grace like never before. There are major voices such as Joseph Prince, Andrew Wommack, and more recently Creflo Dollar preaching an emphasis on the power grace. They may or may not not have every i dotted and every t crossed perfectly, but on the other hand, that’s the idea of grace. It’s about His work versus our work and it’s about inside-out dynamics, rather than outside-in. To the degree that we remain in an outside-in mentality, we are essentially stuck in an Old Testament paradigm, which undermines the work of Jesus on the cross. External pressures cannot produce inner transformation — and transformation is the goal. Individuals who have been transformed by grace can then transform their world, expanding the same inside-out dynamics. God desires that we engage Him with our hearts and then allow Him to change our external behavior as an overflow of His love and acceptance. When we don’t understand that about Him, then we represent His heart incorrectly and attempt to legislate hearts and behavior through laws and imposition rather than simply represent His heart of love and solutions.

As a last example of God’s advancing kingdom in 2015, we have several prominent and impacting voices of hope. Joel Osteen isn’t just “an inch deep and a mile wide,” as some say, but is clearly carrying a huge anointing on his life and message. In fact, I saw that God has assigned the largest angel of hope on the planet to him. The sin-focused crowd generally blasts him, while millions of unbelievers are watching him in over 100 nations and are receiving a much better perspective of God than our old “turn-or-burn” voices of days past. Joel’s message of hope has him nicknamed as The Smiling Preacher, with 15 New York Times Best Selling books to his credit. He and TD Jakes carry the titles of America’s most influential pastors. TD is also an important voice of hope in a hope-starved world. To these names we could add Bill Johnson, as he champions a good God who’s in a good mood and desires to pour His power and healing to us and through us. 

The kingdom of God will forcefully advance in 2016, but we will have a difficult time recognizing that if we don’t realize that it was already forcefully advancing in 2015. As we transition into a new year, it’s imperative to look back and identify some of these breakthroughs we experienced. If you can’t properly perceive Him at work in the past, then you may have a vision defect that needs to be healed before you can correctly see Him moving forward. The good news is that God is actively working in our midst to teach us how to see and perceive Him and His heart correctly.

Trump and The Year of Jubilee 

2016 brings to us a most remarkable synergy of time, personages, and events. When we connect to the Hebraic calendar we discover that we’re in the midst of the 70th Jubilee since Joshua and Caleb went into the promised land with the children of Israel. It’s also the 40th Jubilee since Jesus was on the earth. The number 70 is a very significant number in the Bible that speaks of restoration. It’s a multiple of 7/perfection and 10/completeness. Furthermore, the original Year of Jubilee spoken of in Leviticus 25 started on the 7th month and the 10th day. we certainly don’t want to miss the impacting fact that we’re now in a 70th Jubilee time period.

Leviticus 25 gives us the central tenets of a Year of Jubilee. First of all, it was a year for the ground to rest from production. More applicable for us, it was a year all who were indebted were forgiven their debts. The shofar/trumpet was to be blown everywhere as a sound that proclaimed a new season of liberty. At the sound of the trumpet everyone received a fresh start, so it was a time of renewed hopes and dreams. This was God’s idea and gives us an amazing view of His character and heart of mercy. The qualification was never about the people deserving it, but all about His generosity towards those who need it the most. Each one of us needs to really grasp this as a truth and reality that we can personally believe and embrace as God’s heart for us.

I believe this Jubilee will actually continue over a 7 year period because it’s the 70th Jubilee since Israel entered into their promised land. Your promised land is your appointed area for maximum fruitfulness in the kingdom of God. It isn’t about you becoming rich and famous, although aspects of both of those may take place as you discover your unique role in advancing His solutions and correct reputation in the earth. 

So what does Donald Trump have to do with the Year of Jubilee? I don’t believe that it’s merely a coincidence that a political figure who’s garnering so much attention all over the world is a man whose name is Trump and is turning 70 years old during the 70th Year of Jubilee. The symbolism of his name and age draws our attention to the trumpet blowing of a most unique Jubilee season. Whatever else Donald Trump will do or stand for is at minimum a reminder of the unique year that we are entering into.

The Presidency?

I will clearly state that the Lord hasn’t shown me who will be the next president of the United States. Let me also state that I personally have my doubts that it will be Donald Trump. I think many feel that God is saying something through the appearance of Mr. Trump on the political scene, but most also admit that they aren’t necessarily saying he’ll be elected president. If Trump is a trumpet or shofar sound that God is using, then we must follow the Biblical pattern. The shofar was never the thing God was doing, rather it was only that which activated, facilitated, or proclaimed what God was doing. The trumpet was not the Year of Jubilee itself, but the declaration of it. The appearance of Trump in the political arena has clearly made this election a hybrid like no other. Normal rules are out the door. The candidates that seemed best positioned in terms of resources and organization haven’t seen that translate directly into the typical advantages we’d expect to see. 

As it relates to Trump’s primary political stances, I believe that many of them represent what God is judging in the United States, as opposed to what He’s endorsing. If you draw up a kingdom blueprint for who God would place in the position of authority as president, you wouldn’t pick a three-times married, divider, polarizer, and significantly challenged in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, brash individual. A recent survey has said that 50% of Americans would be embarrassed to have Trump as president. I believe he’s presently operating as a bull in the china shop of the 2016 elections. Ultimately, will he run the shop or just initiate its rebuilding? I don’t know, but I do believe the process will reveal that God has been much more sovereign than many of us imagined and that Donald Trump will prove out to have been used strategically for the purposes of God.

In this election year, it’s important to understand that God is being very efficient and proficient with the process by using it to educate us in His ways. He is focused less on trying to get in the right candidate and more on trying to teach us the right lessons. I believe we’re going to see a manifestation of Psalms 76:10 in this electoral process. “Human defiance only enhances Your glory, for You use it as a weapon.”

As it relates to the presidency, what I’m sure of is that, whoever ultimately becomes president, will in fact have been orchestrated by God. The reason we so often miss being in agreement with His choice for president is that we’re often not aware of what God is working on next in society. We’re out of time and rhythm with Him. We don’t understand His patience and long-suffering and therefore wrongfully assume that what we feel should be the priority — must be His priority too. Many others don’t even have Him in the equation at all and are literally justifying why they should be entitled to their fears. 

It is of utmost importance to be in the right narrative of the day. With the wrong narrative, wemake decisions based on a storyline that’s out of sync with the overall plot and direction. With the wrong narrative, we’ll fight political battles with the wrong mindset and be convinced we must vote for a candidate that God has no intention of endorsing. What we believe regarding illegal immigrants, Muslims, ISIS, the state of our economy and the day we live in, is what will affect our choice of presidential candidate. If we’re more fearful about the issues, then we’ll vote one way. If we’re more hopeful, then we’ll vote another way. Regardless of how you or I vote, the candidate of God’s choice will be elected. God is very, very involved this election. If there are elections where He says, “Well, I’ll just give them who they want.” — this election is not one of them. The intentionality of God will rule supreme, even in our freedom of democratic expression. When you’re God, you can do that! 

Muslims

Muslims are key protagonists this year, as well as in the future. Because of this reality, many aren’t sure if they’re the next Nazi force to be feared and defended against, or if they’re our next harvest field. The answer is the latter and it’s an answer we must be right about or we’ll miss a great opportunity. Fear keeps us out of kingdom advancement, while love and courage connect us to it. More Muslims have come to Jesus since 9/11 than in the lengthy history of Islam. Most of the amazing things taking place in Muslim nations cannot be cited or shared openly because of the added persecution it would bring to them. Reportedly there are in excess of 25,000 coming to Jesus every day. Many, many Muslims have had dreams where Jesus has revealed Himself to them.

I’ve recently heard about the exceptional quality of many of these new converts to Christ. It’s obvious that their radical, courageous brand of Christianity is going to infuse the whole Body of Christ with a much needed upgrade. We need what the Muslim converts bring to us almost as much as they need Christ. Christianity is not meant to be the second or third most passionate religion on the planet, but rather the most passionate. That passion is meant to be a reflection of the love of God, as opposed to the rules and rituals of religion. Muslim converts will be champion demonstrators of His love, His hospitality, His courage, His faith, and His supernatural capabilities. The blinding principality that has had Muslims in it’s vice grip is being decimated and weakened as never before. In time there will be a virtual crash of that principality that will rock the planet into turbo kingdom acceleration. The whole world being challenged with Sharia Law is not our future narrative. A half a billion Muslims coming into the kingdom is the direction we are headed into and soon enough it’ll be a headline story. As believers, we can either accelerate or decelerate that based on our participation with the right or wrong narrative.

The Economy

The one constant before us remains the same — change. A generation of superhero believers are about to rise and challenge the status quo everywhere. They will rise on every mountain of society (media, economy, family, government, arts & entertainment, education, and religion). They’ll bring our Papa’s better way of doing everything to every area of society. As a major part of that, God showed me that the great angel of the Mountain of Economy has been released with his armies and activated over us. He will care for the world’s economy, as well as provide the wisdom for the better systems that must replace the systems of Mammon. There is no present economic crisis in any nation where the solution for that crisis doesn’t already exist in the sons and daughters of the King. The United States’ 18+ trillion dollar debt is only an impossible situation with man. It isn’t IF there is a solution — only WHAT the solution is. The year of the 70th Jubilee is perfect timing for that to begin to be dealt with and we must represent the heart of God and His mercy towards us by carrying a voice of hope in that regard. If the world economy’s future were up to humans alone, we would indeed be headed for devastation in the soon coming days. Everyone with understanding in the economy who can do the math on it can see that. However, there won’t be a world economic crash because we’re going to partner with the heavenly help that is being sent to us and find His solutions in the coming years. Satan wants to crash the world economy because he wants to sabotage the current world harvest that’s taking place. He isn’t going to succeed because God continues to have mercy on us. Of course we’ll have hick-ups and bumps, but that will just allow for more sound and transparent systems to be implemented. Remove yourself from the fear associated with the economy, as that only strengthens the principality of Mammon.

Monitor Your Spiritual Blood Pressure

I recently had a vivd dream that I was having my blood pressure taken. To my surprise it registered a very low 111 over 70, which is much lower than anything I ever see in real life. The numbers from my dream stuck with me and I realized the Lord was speaking through the numbers themselves. For those of you who’ve been following some of my prophetic words, you know that 111 is a significant number in this season. As previously stated, the number 70 is also quite important for us.

I believe the Lord desires us all to maintain a 111 over 70 spiritual blood pressure. This is even more important than your natural blood pressure. In looking at the meaning of these numbers, 70 represents a time of restoration and Jubilee. 111 is about crossing into promised land and living by faith. Jubilee and faith are two key words for us to walk in this year. Joshua 1:11 says, “Go through the camp and tell the people, ‘Get your supplies ready…go in and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you for your own.’” Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of what we don’t see.” Faith is the opposite of certainty. 

In order to maintain your spiritual health this year, you must remember these three words: fun, faith, and fruitfulness. This is the essence of the spiritual blood pressure that God has available for us. Fun may seem to be most inappropriate for certain situations, but it’s perhaps the most appropriate. Paul instructs us to count it all joy even when we fall into diverse trials and to rejoice in the Lord always. He also told us that the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. In 2016, be sure to keep your fun on, your faith on, and your fruitfulness on! It’s the Year of Jubilee and you don’t want to miss its benefits.

Your Guarantee for a Jubilant 2016: Psalms 16:5-9

“O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance. I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rejoice in hope.” (NKJV)

“The Lord himself is my inheritance, my prize. He is my food and drink, my highest joy! He guards all that is mine. He sees that I am given pleasant brooks and meadows as my share! What a wonderful inheritance! I will bless the Lord who counsels me; He gives me wisdom in the night. He tells me what to do. I am always thinking of the Lord; and because He is near, I never need to stumble or fall. Heart, body, and soul are filled with joy.” (The Living Bible)

As we are going into 2016, I believe there are one of two distinct paths that you’ll find yourself on. On one of those paths, many of you have been (or will be) suddenly thrown into transition — a reboot mode that’s similar to a GPS that’s recalculating. It will prove out to be divinely orchestrated. The times and seasons of the Lord are going to hit you like a whirlwind and there’ll be no more business-as-usual for you, but you’ll be divinely repositioned for greater fruitfulness. Be assured that He has a “good inheritance” for you and He has "lines that fall to you in a pleasant place” as you make the Lord Himself your portion and your inheritance. He is the one that maintains your lot and guards all that is yours. It is in Him you live, and move, and have your being. 2016 may briefly feel like you’re in a “night season” of being clueless as to how to proceed, but He will instruct your heart with wisdom and lead you into your Jubilee.

On the other path, I see a year of acceleration and abundance. For those, you’ve already seen the “lines that fall in a pleasant place” and you’ll be shown an even greater vein of treasure. You’re already in the right field of inheritance and fun, faith, and fruitfulness is your immediate track. 

Whichever path find yourself on, remember to maintain the 111 over 70 spiritual blood pressure: fun, faith, and fruitfulness along with an expectation of restoration in the Year of Jubilee. We must all shift to a mentality of abundance and stay in that, no matter what the test or the contradiction. All things are possible at any time. Nothing is impossible in 2016!

A Time of the Justice of God

Justice will be a big theme in 2016. We’ll see it emphasized and applied in many areas, including our own justice system that’s presently highly and inexcusably unjust. Justice will come as judgment (a rendering of a verdict) to the house of God. Matthew 20:16 and Luke 20:16 are appropriate passages for this year. 

Matthew 20:16 says, “The last will be first, and the first last.” This will be a reality in many situations. Luke 20:16 is a little stronger and says, “He’ll come and destroy those vinedressers and give the vineyard to others.” The vineyards speak of churches, denominations, and ministries (especially TV) who have wrongfully represented the Lord in the areas that He gave them stewardship over. While the church has been pointing its judgmental finger at society, the Justice of the Lord will focus on His house. Many vinedressers have assumed that the vineyard where they operate is theirs, but they’ll soon discover that it’s His vineyard. In 2016 God will be initiating a lot of promoting and demoting in His house, where the last shall be first and the first shall be last. This is all a part of the Year of Jubilee. All in all, 2016 will bear out to be a wonderful year of kingdom advancement. The spiritual atmosphere is clearing up and demonstrations of glory will increase. Voices and eyes of hope will experience the greatest favor and help from heaven. God will be greater than every challenge and He will have a solution for every crisis. Abundance is also a key word for now and we must shift our paradigm to one of abundance. If we’ll gaze into His face we’ll see written there “all is possible”. If you will keep your mouth in agreement with who He is, your greatest year is ahead of you!
