I just wanted to throw out a few “mini-words” that I feel the Lord has been giving me lately that may apply to you as well. I know many of us have endured a very long, arduous, and strange time where we cannot see very far in front of us spiritually; so hopefully some of these words can help. These words are not in any special order, nor greatly expounded upon; so that being said, here they are.
1. Acceleration- I know this is a word that we’ve been hearing for a while, but the other night when I was wondering why things have been so busy and eventful all of the sudden, I heard a clear and resounding word from the Lord; “It is because you are starting to accelerate, so expect things stay busy for a while as change happens”. But I also felt admonished to stay in step and not rush ahead.
2. Culling- Def. (“To select from a group”) The Lord has been highlighting certain elements of the military special forces and how they get put through a brutal weeding process at first to find out who is truly committed to going forward. Many of us have been pushed to our breaking point in order for “us” to see whether we want to move on or not. Much like Gideon’s army, we too are being tested.
3. Holiness through fresh revelation- There have been many of us struggling with old sins that God is now setting us free from through a new and deeper revelation of His word about that problem. All of the sudden you will just understand and see that sin through God’s eyes, and you just won’t want to do it anymore. You will also have more of an aversion to the things of the world as this happens.
4. New sources of provision are about to come into view- Many of us have lived on God’s manna throughout our long modern Wilderness years, but now we will be shifting over to Promised-land provision. This may mean more battles and warfare, but now you will be stepping into your greater inheritance where you’ll have all you need for restoration and the harvest ahead. God will provide.
5. Long awaited vindication- Many of you have had to bear terrible reproaches and humiliations to follow the Lord’s call, and you have been unfairly and arrogantly judged by certain people who will now be shown the truth about you and what really happened. It will be the Lord Himself that does this, so just sit back and try not to interfere. The Lord will show you how to respond to each person.
6. Real healing is about to come- I know that many of us have been dealing with multiple serious physical problems for a very long time now, and the Lord wants you to know that genuine healing is about to come for you. Some of you have even given up hope because it’s been so long since you have seen God do anything about your problem. But fear not; your problem is about to get healed!
7. Empowerment is about to begin- As soon as God is satisfied with the testing process and we are all ready “together”, the flow of healing and driving out of evil spirits will start happening. The most important thing here is not the miracles, but the heart of God’s love formed in us for His creation so that we will preach the message of the gospel and the kingdom in true holiness, boldness, and love.
So hang in there for this last part and try to just keep seeking the Lord right now and staying away from anything or anyone that would hamper this process. We are stepping into the kingdom and out of the things of this world 100% now, so holiness and purity must become a constant and natural to us. You are entering into the destiny you were born for, so get ready for a very exciting adventure!
PS 126:2 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them." :3 The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
