Dealing with Demons by Jim Hammerle

“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit,”   Romans 8:5.
Religion has foolishly mixed fleshly psychology into the ministry of the Holy Spirit, attempting to dig up and uncover things in believers lives, that were covered by My blood, in order to free them from bondage.  If you are one who desires to deliver those in bondage, you must never move outside the guidelines of My word.  Believers that are bound by an evil spirit can only be delivered in My presence by one having authority and using one or more of the gifts of My Spirit.
Believers that are still tormented by past experiences must do as everyone else and “cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against My Fathers knowledge, and bring every thought of the past and present and force it to obey Me and align with My word,  2 Corinthians 10:5.  When evil spirits stand in My presence, they will make themselves known by manifesting in a manner that everyone will recognize and then can be cast out.  Never dig into the past of anyone, to analyze demonic activity!  Always exercise your authority over the forces of darkness, no matter how they got there.  How they got there is not of any consequence, expelling them is the issue at hand.
The sins of the past are washed away with My blood, every believer is to forget what is behind them and press on to their calling, Philippians 3:13-15.  Mixing man’s psychology in dealing with the spirit world will not produce a kingdom victory.  Heavenly hosts are the only beings equipped to do combat with the hordes of hell.  They do not fear or obey anyone operating according to human intellect, but only to Holy Spirit anointed directives, given by those who recognize and know how to use their authority,  Acts 19:13-16.
Abstain from moving ahead of My Spirit; demonic spirits are everywhere and not to be feared, but also not to be toyed with.  They should be respected as beings that are able to do harm to the guilty as well as innocent humans.  Even mature believers having authority must adhere closely to the timing and leading of My Spirit.
“Even Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil as he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke you,”   Jude 1:9.
Much to the dismay of many, there is no such thing as a deliverance ministry.  Delivering people from evil spirits is just part of everyday kingdom life.
“As you go about your daily life, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out devils: don’t make a big deal about it, just as you have freely received, you must freely give out,”  Matthew 10:7-8.
