Glenn Jackson - WHEN ONE IS WALKING IN OBEDIENCE THEN THEY ARE "ABIDING" IN THE "SECRET PLACE" OF GOD'S PRESENCE

...."And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus [the Messiah, the Anointed One]".... Ephesians 2:6 NASB

...."How great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You, which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You, before the sons of men! You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues".... Psalms 31:19-20 NASB

...."For in Him [Christ] we live, and move, and have our being".... Acts 17:28 KJV
"perfect obedience"- the seeking after [and gaining] a "revelation" of God's Will and, THEN, carrying it out to fulfillment from beginning to end [moment to moment]- regardless of how long that may take - in the unction and power of the Holy Spirit, alone.

When one is walking in "obedience" [which is not only an "outward" thing but an "inward state of heart, also] they are IN the Presence of God - and, thus, the particular aspect of the Covenant that is needed in any given moment in the obedient one's life and ministry spontaneously manifests: where protection is needed, protection [see scriptures below]; where healing is needed, healing; where prosperity in any of its forms is needed, prosperity etc.

...."The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news [the Gospel] to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity], To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound]. [Isa. 61:1, 2.] Then He rolled up the book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were gazing [attentively] at Him. And He began to speak to them: Today this Scripture has been fulfilled while you are present and hearing. And all spoke well of Him and marveled at the words of grace that came forth from His mouth; and they said, Is not this Joseph's Son? So He said to them, You will doubtless quote to Me this proverb: Physician, heal Yourself! What we have learned by hearsay that You did in Capernaum, do here also in Your [own] town. Then He said, Solemnly I say to you, no prophet is acceptable and welcome in his [own] town (country). But in truth I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heavens were closed up for three years and six months, so that there came a great famine over all the land; And yet Elijah was not sent to a single one of them, but only to Zarephath in the country of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. [I Kings 17:1, 8-16; 18:1.] And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and yet not one of them was cleansed [by being healed] - but only Naaman the Syrian. [II Kings 5:1-14.] When they heard these things, all the people in the synagogue were filled with rage. And rising up, they pushed and drove Him out of the town, and [laying hold of Him] they led Him to the [projecting] upper part of the hill on which their town was built, that they might hurl Him headlong down [over the cliff]. But passing through their midst, He went on His way".... Luke 4:18-30 The Amplified Translation

...."The Jews then gathered around Him, and were saying to Him, 'How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.' Jesus answered them, 'I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father's name, these testify of Me. But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.' The Jews picked up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, 'I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?' The Jews answered Him, 'For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.' Jesus answered them, 'Has it not been written in your Law, 'I SAID, YOU ARE GODS'? 'If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came [and the Scripture cannot be broken], do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'? "If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.' Therefore they were seeking again to seize Him, and He eluded their grasp".... John 10:24-39 NASB
I would think that generally speaking when an enraged "crowd" set themselves to take one to the top of a cliff to hurl one to their death [or in the case of the second incident to stone someone]they would most times be found successful in their endeavour BUT Jesus suddenly passed through their midst [eluded their grasp]. Whether or not He became invisible to them or the eyes of the Enemy [and his vessels were temporarily blinded]I'm not sure BUT, as I mentioned earlier, when one is "abiding" [living, moving and having their entire being] in Christ, the Holy Spirit will do WHATEVER is necessary to protect and honour the obedience of that one. So, to summarize: when one is walking in obedience [regardless of how seemingly insignificant it may appear] THEN they are "abiding" [dwelling] in the "secret place" of God's Presence [a place that the Enemy can neither access or understand {hear} what is transpiring there on an ongoing basis]. It is the "inner chamber" first thing in the morning that sets one in that "place of abiding" - which, THEN, sets the tone for the rest of the day in one's walk.
