I had this dream last Tuesday January 19, 2016. When I woke up, I was instructed to write it down. After I wrote it down, He then told me to go and read about judgment in the book of Jeremiah. I cried for the church and our nation because what I saw in the dream was confirmed in His word.
I asked the Lord what He wanted me to do with it. He said, “Tell my people. Publish it.”
So here is what I saw as well as the scriptures He gave me to confirm it.
In this dream, I was driving my daughter somewhere and we ended up on the street near my old childhood home where I grew up in Detroit. When we got out of our car to go to our destination, we looked toward the sky and could see what looked like a tornado coming, but it looked different because it was shaped like a round cylinder. We could see it was still far off, like as far off as in another country.
I said, “Oh my God, I feel so sorry for the people in that place where it’s hitting.”
In my spirit I knew it was coming to us as well, but in my mind I was thinking, “But we’ve never been hit to that degree before, so it probably will miss us in the United States.”
We continued to our destination, but when we were walking back to our car to leave, the storm had already reached our location. It was such a powerful and destructive wind that it was shredding and destroying everything in the streets. My daughter and I were able to run into my old childhood house and take cover. When we got inside and closed the door, I saw my mother inside and she was at such peace. We looked at her in terror and asked, “Mom, do you see what’s going on outside?”
She said, “No, what’s going on?”
I said, “It’s destruction everywhere! A storm just hit us and it is destroying everything outside. I can’t believe you didn’t hear anything!”
After the storm had passed over, I opened the door to show her what had occurred and there was devastation everywhere. We all noticed that none of the homes or the people inside the homes had been destroyed, only the things that were out in the street. We began to see other neighbors open their doors and step outside into the street in amazement.
Then the scene changed and I was then taken to another day, which was just a normal day. I saw all the women of my immediate family and we were all out and about, but I never saw my husband or any male family members who would normally be there to cover us as women.
All of a sudden, an earthquake shook the earth so violently that everyone felt it across the land. After the shaking, I looked up to discover that somehow our family had all become separated. I was with one of my three daughters, my mother was with my youngest daughter, but my other daughter was separated from everyone.
Everything and everyone was in a state of chaos and shock. People were screaming and crying; running around trying to find their family members and even their pets. There were people who had been killed and many were badly injured. People’s faces were covered with dark soot and everyone was just trying to gather themselves together and find their loved ones.
As my daughter and I began to look for the rest of our family, we looked up in the sky and saw several planes flying overhead releasing bombs over the land. Somehow I just knew these planes were from North Korea and our country was under attack.
As the bombs were dropping, we ran in the opposite directions of where they were landing to escape the attack. Again, by the grace of God we were able to escape the destruction.
As we were running to escape from the bombs, we ran to a street where we passed by many hurting and lost people. I saw a woman standing off to the side of the street ministering to a group of people. As we approached them, I noticed she was reading from the Bible and teaching the group. As I stood there and listened, I couldn’t help but get frustrated because what she was teaching was not relevant at all to what was going on all around us. The faces of the people in the group were almost like they were in a dazed and unaware state. I saw other people walking by on the street hurting and desperate for help, looking for hope, but couldn’t find any.
As I stood there listening to this woman, I looked to the left, and in the sky I saw words being written in the clouds. I shouted to everyone “Do you all see that? Do you see that writing in the sky?”
The woman who was teaching stepped out, looked up in the sky and said “Oh, I didn’t see that. What is it?”
I said, “God is speaking. It’s from the book of Jeremiah; read what He’s saying!”
The words were all from the book of Jeremiah, but some of them were written in red. The woman read it and said, “What does it mean?”
I looked at her in amazement because I couldn’t believe she was a minister of the word, but had no understanding of it or the times we were in. After reading it, she went back over to her group and continued her previous teaching! The people she was teaching were in a spiritual daze. I looked at them and realized they were out there among the world appearing like they had a word that could help others, but it was only an outward show. They had no power to help others or themselves and they were not able to discern the time and season we were in, so my daughter and I sadly walked away.
As we walked, I noticed my daughter had picked up a friend along the way who began walking with us. We were still trying to find our other family members as we walked through all the chaos and devastation. We walked down a different street and I saw what looked like a bus stop, even though I kept hearing the word “train”. This waiting area was connected to this a building that was directly behind it. Just like a bus stop, this waiting area had a covering overhead and a glass protector in front of it. There were a few rows of bleachers where people were sitting down looking out in hopes of seeing their loved ones pass by. When I looked inside I saw my mother and my youngest daughter sitting there together. We were so excited to be connected again!
So we sat down with them and started watching for my other daughter who had been separated from us. Then I had a vision within the dream in which I saw my daughter. I saw that she was a little injured from the earthquake, but she was fine. Even though she was a bit hurt, I could see her serving and providing aid to other people. A sense of peace came over me knowing she was fine.
Then the Lord said to me, “Because you prepared her when she was young for this very hour, she was not caught unaware and is now able to help others.”
Even though we knew she was fine, we still wanted to find her, so we sat there waiting for her to walk by. As we sat there, I noticed a woman dressed in white and a few others walking around this waiting area observing everyone coming into the waiting area. After a while, the woman walked up to our family and said, “Come with me. You are invited in.”
We followed the woman into the tall building that was directly behind us. When we went inside we could see it was a church. The woman said, “I have been watching you all and examining your spirits to see if I could invite you in. We had to ensure that you were not a thief, robber, or troublemaker.”
She guided us through this church on different floors and levels. We saw all the provision that had been prepared for those who were invited in. We saw people walking around serving and preparing for everyone who had been invited. There were many floors and rooms filled with food and provision as well as other rooms where people could rest. The thing I noticed most was there was unity among the servers and all the people coming in. As we walked through, we saw areas that we too wanted to help serve the people.
As we looked around the church, I passed by a window where I was able to look out and see the waiting area and the people walking by on the street. I noticed it was a one-sided window where we could outside, but people outside could not see us as clearly. As I was looking, there was another great shaking, but in the midst of the shaking the church never moved. It stood firm!
That was the end of my dream.
My dear friends, do not believe all who claim to have the Spirit, but test them to find out if the spirit they have comes from God. For many false prophets have gone out everywhere. (1 John 4:1)
Interpretation:
I did not see any men I knew in the dream, not even my husband, brother, uncles, or spiritual leaders, because the Lord was revealing in that time we will not be able to depend on human strength or our natural coverings, but only on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will be the one who covers and protects us.
Some of the words written in the sky were in red. It was later explained to me this was to show that God is bringing the old and the new covenants together, and the red letters were of course Jesus speaking.
The woman in white and the others walking around in the waiting area were angels sent by God to invite us into the House of God. The waiting area represented the outer court of the House of God. Our invitation to the building behind it represented an invitation to the inner court and the Holy of Holies.
There was protection for the ones who sat in the waiting area, but in that place we were still close enough to the world where we could feel the winds and storms hitting. The Lord is saying, “Come in and come up higher My people. I will protect you from the storm and from My wrath of judgment.”

Because my people hath forgotten me, and have burnt incense to vanity, and their prophets have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient ways, to walk in the paths and way that is not trodden, to make their land desolate, and a perpetual derision, so that everyone that passeth thereby, shall be astonished and wag his head. (Jeremiah 18:15-16)
And already the axe [of God’s judgment] is swinging toward the root of the trees; therefore, every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. (Matthew 3:10)
Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, “I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.’ For this reason, her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.” (Revelation 18:6-8)
Then I, Jeremiah, said, “Lord God, you have tricked the people of Judah and Jerusalem. You said to them, ‘You will have peace.’ But now the sword is pointing at their throats!” At that time this message will be given to the people of Judah and Jerusalem: “A hot wind blows from the bare hills. It comes from the desert to my people. It is not like the gentle wind that is used to separate the grain from the chaff. It is a stronger wind than that, and it comes from me. Now I will announce my judgment against the people of Judah.” Look! The enemy rises up like a cloud. His chariots look like a windstorm. His horses are faster than eagles. It will be very bad for us! We are ruined! (Jeremiah 4:10-13)
Go into your houses, my people, and shut the door behind you. Hide yourselves for a little while until God’s anger is over. The Lord is coming from his heavenly dwelling place to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The murders that were secretly committed on the earth will be revealed, and the ground will no longer hide those who have been killed. (Isaiah 26:20-21)
Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?” Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come. (Matthew 24:3-8)
The Lord roars from Zion, and sounds His voice from Jerusalem, and heaven and earth quake. But the Lord is a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the children of Israel. (Joel 3:16)
Then the Lord said to me, “Out of the north the evil [which the prophets foretold as the result of national sin] will reveal itself and spill out on all the people of the land. (Jeremiah 1:14)
People are running out of Babylon. They are escaping from that country and coming to Zion. They are telling everyone the good news about what the Lord is doing. The Lord our God is giving Babylon the punishment it deserves. The Lord is destroying Babylon, because it destroyed his Temple! (Jeremiah 50:28)
The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus. They wanted to test him. So they asked him to show them a miracle as a sign from God. Jesus answered, “When you people see the sunset, you know what the weather will be. If the sky is red, you say we will have good weather. And in the morning, if the sky is dark and red, you say that it will be a rainy day. These are signs of the weather. You see these signs in the sky and know what they mean. In the same way, you see the things that are happening now. These are also signs, but you don’t know their meaning.” (Matthew 16:1-3)
And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment. (1 Chronicles 12:32)
And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. (Revelation 19:9-10)
For we see now through a dim window obscurely, but then face to face; now I know partially, but then I shall know according as I also have been known. (1 Corinthians 13:12)
“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not practice what I tell you? Everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words and obeys them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a [far-sighted, practical, and sensible] man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and yet could not shake it, because it had been securely built and founded on the rock. But the one who has [merely] heard and has not practiced [what I say], is like a [foolish] man who built a house on the ground without any foundation, and the torrent burst against it; and it immediately collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.” (Luke 6:46-49)
