Can you hear the thunder in the distance? by Deborah Waldron Fry

Can you hear the thunder in the distance?  Do you hear the shout of El Shaddai?  When you worship, the Lion of Judah roars.  I inhabit your praises, Beloved.
Strongholds crumble all around you in My Presence.  I have declared that the captives are free in this year of Jubilee.  There is victory in the camp tonight, Dear One.
In My Name the powers of darkness tremble.  Walls tumble to the ground.  In My name chains of death and sickness are broken.  I AM pouring out My Spirit upon all flesh.
Every curse is broken by the Blood of the Lamb.  The Lamb is a Lion.  Every enemy shall flee from the Fire in My Eyes.  Every tribe and every tongue shall sing.  Let your faith roar LOUDER than your fear.
I go before you as a Mighty Warrior.  I utter a shout and raise a war cry on your behalf.  I have prevailed against your enemies!  Let this be your shout of victory, My Child, “IT IS FINISHED!”
Of the last sayings of Jesus Christ on the cross, none is more important or more poignant than, “It is finished.”  The Greek word τελέω, translated “IT IS FINISHED” is TETELESTAI, an accounting term that means “PAID IN FULL”  When Jesus uttered those words, He was declaring the debt owed to His Father was wiped away completely and forever.  Not that Jesus wiped away any debt that He owed to the Father; rather, Jesus eliminated the debt owed by mankind — the debt of sin.
“The LORD will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the heavens will tremble.  But the LORD will be a refuge for His people, a stronghold for the people of Israel,”   Joel 3:16.
“They will follow the LORD; He will roar like a lion.  When He roars, His children will come trembling from the west,”   Hosea 11:10.
“The LORD will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies,”   Isaiah 42:13.
“After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”  Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.  So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!”  And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit,”   John 19:28-30.
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.  His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many royal crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.  He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God,”   Revelation 19:11-13.
