Revival Fires by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  Photos:  Left: Kibera-Nairobi, Kenya.  Right: Ngozi, Burundi.   Revival fires are stirring all across the earth. As people riot in the streets, and violence, wars, and rumors of wars increase, fires are breaking out in California, on the East Coast, and all over Africa.  The end times are here, the time of sorrows and birth pangs.  It will truly be the worst of times, but the best of times for the harvest of souls for the kingdom.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow(slack) about His promise, as some men count slowness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all shall come to repentance.  v10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works therein shall be burned up.
Beloved, the Lord is opening a door of opportunity through Gather the Outcasts Ministry for a team to go to Africa and work with the orphan children and share the good news of the gospel.  Would you pray about making this your opportunity?  When you leave your home, your business, your farm,  your comfort zone, you receive that 30, 60, and hundred fold blessing. Departure date is set for July 6, 2016 for the two week trip to Kenya. I will be going on from there to preach in Burundi and Congo. Pray about your part, you can email me for a complete trip itinerary.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  May God bless you as you pray.  In Christ, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Inc.,  Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501 (c)3   Paypal at www.gathertheoutcastscom  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com                      email: pureprairie@hotmail.com   Forward to friends by link below.

Food for the Hungry by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  Pictures above: the maize harvest on the Living Water Orphanage Land in Kenya.  Left are the church members harvesting corn and gathering up the stalks; right, you can see the many brown and moldy ears of corn from all the El Nino rains. The harvest this year was less than 50% of normal, so it is going to be a year of lack for many of the children and their families in West Kenya. These families depend on maize for much of their food supply for themselves and the livestock.  They eat ugali, a boiled corn meal dish similar to our corn meal mush, twice a day with greens and beans or meat if they have it.  They also feed their chickens cracked maize, so it is a staple of all the rural people. Because of the poor harvest, many of the farmers in the Mumias area do not have the money for seed and fertilizer to plant the spring crop, so that will affect the summer food supply as well.

Would you consider supporting a child for $30 per month so they will not be hungry when they go to bed?  Please pray about it and see what the Lord would have you to do.  We can arrange for monthly deposit to Gather the Outcasts, or you can Paypal or send checks. I would like to see the support level take care of at least fifty children. Beloved, in America we don't know about hunger and lack.  For the cost of a couple of pizzas you can feed one child for a month.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  May God bless you as you pray.  In Christ, Jim   Gather the Outcasts, Inc.,  Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501(c)3   Paypal at www.gathertheoutcasts.com      or    www.jimrowh.blogspot.com                        email: pureprairie@hotmail.com

Kenya Orphans Update by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  The crop reports are coming in from Kenya and they are not good.  They have had very devastating El Nino rains in West Kenya that have caused crop failures all over the area.  We planted four acres of corn and beans in September at the Living Water Orphanage site, hoping for a bountiful harvest to help feed the children.  The beans were a total failure, no harvest at all.  The corn yield was 19 sacks compared to the expected 40 sacks for a normal harvest. This does not bode well for the children or for the country as a whole; there will be food shortages all over Kenya and other countries in East Africa as well.
Would you be willing to step up and sponsor a child for $30 per month, or make a one time gift of $350 for a year's supply of food?  The Pastor in Mumias is now caring for eleven children, so he has a burden to keep many from going hungry.  Would you be able to help?.  I can help you arrange a direct deposit from your account to the Gather the Outcasts, Inc. account, or you can send a check, or Paypal by the websites given below. All contributions are tax deductible.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this: To care for the widows and orphans in their distress, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.  Thank you for your prayers and support.  May God bless you as you pray,   Jim      Gather the Outcasts, Inc., Box 92, Norton, Ks 67654  501(c)3   Paypal at: www.gathertheoutcasts.com   or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com   email: pureprairie@hotmail.com

Blessings for a New Year by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved: This giraffe looked in over our Land Rover when I was touring the Masai Mara Wildlife Refuge in Kenya.  Might you also be interested in going to see him and his friends at the Masai Mara?  I will be leading a team back to Kenya this summer, planning for a two week trip for a short term mission team to work at the orphanage site, then finish up with a trip to the Masai Mara.  It would be the trip of a lifetime for you, and you would get some hands on work for the orphan children God cares so much about. I'm looking at a late June, early July time frame.

As we look at the new year before us, God has some work for each of us to do.  How will you spend your time and resources this year to expand the Kingdom of God?  Acts 13:2 And while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them."  v3 Then when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. v4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia and from there they sailed to Cyprus.    Beloved, God has work to which He has called you, and He is speaking to some of you about it right now.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  I am looking for monthly partners to help support me, so I can devote even more time to the work God has called me to.  Maybe you can't go, can you send?               May God bless you as you pray.

A Grateful Heart by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  Above are three of the sweet children being cared for at the farm of my pastor near Mumias, Kenya.  Their names, left to right, are Shantelle, Regina, and Dellie. They have been left by their parents to the care of the pastor because the parents did not have the means to care for them.  This is a common occurrence all over Africa, children passed off or abandoned due to scarce resources,, or even totally orphaned due to the AIDS epeidemic.
We have so much to be thankful here in America.  As you sit down to your bountiful meal this Thanksgiving, and just about every day no matter the occasion, reflect on the bounty we have been given here.  Also reflect on the needs of others less fortunate, who have no big meal, maybe even no meal, to sit down to.   Psalm 103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name. v2. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits.  Psalm 100:4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His name. v5 For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting, and HIs faithfulness to all generations.
Beloved, we have an opportunity given to us by the Lord to help those in need. " When you take care of the least of these among us, the hungry, the thirsty, the naked, the sick, the prisoner, and the alien among us," Jesus said, " you also have done it unto Me."  Matt. 25:40. Pray about your part in helping the Living Water Orphanage become a reality for fifty orphaned children. Together we can build it!       Click on this link to see a short video of the orphanage   project: https://www.facebook.com/jimrohw/?fref=ts

Gather the Outcasts Impacts Muslims by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  In light of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, I want to share with you the stories of three former Muslims who have been impacted as a result of Gather the Outcasts Ministry in Africa.  First, I want to say I believe it is imperative that we have a strong national defense to protect our nation against attacks from any enemies who intend to harm us. In addition to that, I believe it is vitally important that we pray for our enemies, and also go to the nations to proclaim the good news of the gospel to these people, for in Jesus Christ alone comes the hope of the longing of their hearts.
Left to right, #1 Stephen was raised in a Muslim family and came forward to accept Jesus at the Mumias, Kenya crusade in 2011 when he was twelve years old.  In addition to accepting Jesus, he wanted to be prayed for that God would heal him of HIV/AIDS, as he had a full blown case of it and was very sick.  I prayed for him, and then took him to the river later that week to be baptized.  The picture above was taken on my recent trip to Kenya.  Stephen is now seventeen, completely healed of AIDS, and is growing strong in his walk with the Lord, as well as in the strength of his body.  He is out every day working on the farm and in the fields. he would like to go on to college, but is needing funds to go.
#2  This is Shadrack, who was my caretaker when I was on the coast of Kenya this year preaching in churches and house fellowships.  Shadrack is a former Muslim who accepted Jesus a few years ago and is now raising his children as Christian in spite of being ostracized by his family.  One day we took a walk on beach, and I asked him about his family.  We then prayed for his family, his mother and father and siblings, to come to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior, and know the joy that Shadrack knows.
#3 The lady in the turquoise shirt is a former Muslim who was saved at the Kibera Crusade in Nairobi in 2011.  While walking through the crusade grounds, fully veiled in her hijab, she stopped to listen to the praise music that was blaring out over the Kamukunji grounds.  As she stayed around to listen to the message, a preacher from Kansas got up to give the life saving message to the crowd, and that night she decided to give her heart to the Lord. It was not an easy decision for her, as it meant total rejection from the friends and family that she knew, but she knew that she could not deny the call the Lord had placed upon her heart through the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. V20 Teaching them all I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  God bless you as you pray. In Christ, Jim    Gather the Outcasts, Inc. A Great Book for Your Christmas Shopping by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  Above is a picture of the cover of the recently published book, "Gather the Outcasts: Reaching the Lost in Africa."  The book is a compilation of stories of revivals and crusades conducted in Africa from the year 2010 to 2014.  You will find many interesting stories witnessing to the power of God, not only to save people and start them on their Christian journey, but also to heal and deliver from the grip of the enemy. You can order this book from amazon, just click this link:  http://www.amazon.com/Gather-Outcasts-Reaching-Lost-Africa/dp/0768409381/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1447038044&sr=1-1&keywords=ga   to get it delivered to your doorstep within a few days. It is also available on e-version for those who prefer it to read on their tablet.  This would make a great gift for your family and friends who love the Lord or like to read about missionary adventures.
Each purchase helps to boost the ministry, so I would encourage you to order your copy today.  I have also started writing a second book, so hope to have it out before the next trip back to Africa.  I also have a video presentation ready to present to churches and bible study groups, so please contact me if you would like to have me come share about the Africa mission and the Living Water Orphanage Project in Kenya. You can see a short video on the Living Water Orphanage Project, click on this facebook link and you will see it: https://www.facebook.com/jimrohw/?fref=ts.
Since returning from Africa in mid October, I have felt the oppressive darkness in America as never before.  The Lord has been speaking this scripture to me from Isaiah 60. " Arise, shine: For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you, v2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. v3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising."  Beloved, as the darkness of the end days gets darker, the light in the children of God will get brighter.  The glory, the presence of the Lord will be seen by others upon you, and they will come to you. As you seek the Lord, your light will get brighter!  Let us press on together in the race the Lord has set before us.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  Please consider monthly support for Gather the Outcasts Ministry, to continue the radio broadcasts, revivals, and the weekly prison services.  May God bless you as you pray.  In Christ, JIm   Gather the Outcasts Ministry, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654   501(c)3   Paypal at www.gathertheoutcasts.com  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com    If you receive this letter as a forward from a friend and wish to be on the mailing list, email at pureprairie@hotmail.com

Group Fundraiser for Orphanage by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  I am sending out a link to a group fundraising site, this will facilitate a group effort to raise funds for the Living Water Orphanage Project in Kenya.  All you have to do is click on this link and it will automatically take you to the fundraising site.
                                               www.grouprev.com/livingwaterorphanage

On the fundraising site there are links provided that will boost the post on facebook and twitter, or to email to a friend.  Check it all out, make your best contribution to the project, and then send it out on your social media. Pray about what God  would have you to do.

A couple of scriptures come to mind regarding this project.  First, Proverbs19:17 He who has pity on the poor lends to the poor, and He (God) will pay back what he has given.  And second, James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.  Why does James mention both God and the Father in the same sentence?  It is to remind us that our God is also the Father to the Fatherless, and to the broken and those who do not have earthly fathers. If you could all see what my eyes have seen in Africa regarding the plight of children who have no home, you would not hesistate for even a minute to lend to the poor.  My prayer is that many of you one day will be able to go there and see with your own eyes, the needs of these children and then the solution that the saints of God are going to provide.

The Living Water Orphanage will stand as a testimony not only to the children, but also to the neighbors and people across the earth about the love of Jesus.  It was prophesied over me this year when I was in Mumias working on the orphanage site: "My brother, now you are alone with God on this project. But in the days ahead many will come!"  Join with me as we unite the desire of the Father with His plan for these children. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!
Thank you for your prayers and contributions.  God bless you, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654 501(c)3

Living Water Orphanage: Prayer Will Build It! by Jim Rowh

When Nehemiah was given the burden to go back to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls of the city, he immediately began to cry out to the Lord in fasting and prayer for the Lord to grant him success and mercy in the mission.  Nehemiah 1:11 "O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man."  For I was the king's cupbearer.

Beloved, God has given me a burden to rebuild the walls of a broken country of Kenya by providing a good home for some of the orphan children who are homeless there.  All over Africa there are millions of orphan children, primarliy due to the AIDS epidemic that swept through the continent ten years ago.  Just in Kenya alone there are an estimated 2-3 million orphan children out of a population of 45 million.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of fifty children by providing them a good home, with good food, people that love and care about them, and the teaching that Jesus came and died for them.  Many of these children come from muslim and pagan backgrounds, so they will be given the greatest gift of all, the good news of the gospel. And just as Nehemiah was successful in his quest to fulfill the burdern God placed upon him to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, so too, we will be successful to build the Living Water Orphanage, to help shore up the walls of a devastated country and the people who live there.

Through prayer God provided all the provision for Nehemiah to accomplish the task set before him.  By prayer God opened the eyes of kings and pagans to help Nehemiah go forward.  By prayer, God defeated the enemies of Nehemiah who came against him when the wall was being built.  By prayer, God filled up the city with the returning captives.  By prayer Jerusalem stands today, a testament to the power and faithfulness of God.

Please join me in praying for the provision for the orphanage, that the good plans of the Lord will be established on earth as it is in heaven. Pray about your part in sending a team next summer to help build, or to be a team member to go and put your hands to the work.  May God bless you as you pray!
In Christ, Jim

Home Sweet Home! by Jim Rowh

I am happy to report that I have made it back to Kansas City, USA, and am resting comfortably here.  I thank God for the safe travel and good health over the many miles that I have traveled on this tour of Africa. It is good to see smooth roads again!  I will be spending a few days in the area with my two daughters and grandson, then will be going back out to Norton.

Thank you again to all you warriors for your prayers and support.  Testimonies of healings and how God stirred revival in all the places where meetings were held continue to pour in. To God goes the glory, He alone is worthy of our praise. I learned a short little chorus in Congo, " You are Alpha and Omega, We worship You alone, You are worthy to be praised!"

Matthew 9:35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness, and every disease among the people. v36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd. v37 Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. v38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."

Beloved, the harvest in Africa is plentiful. I pray that you would continue to partner with Gather the Outcasts Ministry to bring in the harvest, and to bring the healing power of the blood of Jesus to those who are weary and scattered. Pray about becoming a monthly partner.  I will be going back to Africa in the summer of 2016, to preach the gospel and help with the construction of the Living Water Orphanage project near Mumias, Kenya.  The  Lord has shown me He wants me to take a team to work on the orphanage project.  Would you consider going to Africa for a short term mission trip to work on the orphanage home for 50 children?  It would be a thrilling trip of a lifetime for you, and a blessing to the children in Kenya.  Pray about your involvement and email me if you think you would be interested.

If you have enjoyed the newsletters of the Africa mission, consider ordering a copy of my new book, "Gather the Outcasts: Reaching the Lost in Africa" The book chronicles many events of revivals and crusades held from 2010 to 2014.  You can order a copy on amazon.com. by clicking on this link. http://www.amazon.com/dp/0768409381/ref=cm_sw_r_fa_awdo_JcUHvb1DGKZW2  Your purchase will help boost the ministry and spread the news  of the orphanage project. Also, if your church or missions organization would like to have me come share about the work with them, contact me and we can make plans for a date to come.

Thank you again for your prayers and support.  God bless you,  in Christ, Jim   Gather the Outcasts, Inc.  Box 92, Norton, Ks, 67654   501(c) 3  Paypal at www.gathertheoutcasts.com  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com    If you have received this letter from a forward link and wish to be on the mailing list, email me at pureprairie@hotmail.com

Kesha by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  Above is a picture from the student Kesha held Friday night at Multimedia University in Nairobi.  We had about 125 students from six different universities, it was a time of great praise and worship, then preaching and crying out to the Lord.  I thought the roof was going to come off the place during the time of dancing and praise!  The Lord also provided me with a guitar to play, so I led a session of worship as well. We ended the Kesha on our knees and with our faces to the wall, crying out to the Lord for protection from the enemy, and to tear down strongholds of the enemy over the country. It is hard to put into words all that happened, just suffice it to say God knows the sum of it all- it was a very powerful time.  We are in expectation the Lord will do great and mighty things in response to the prayers.

Finished up the preaching on this tour of Africa by preaching today at Shiloh Wonders Worship in Embakasi, then also preached to a ladies group in the afternoon.  This has been an epic tour of preaching, all totalled I have preached about thirty times in the crusades, pastor conferences, and the various churches in three countries.  I thank God He has given the open doors, kept me stong, and blessed the messages every step of the way.  I will be posting more testimonies from various pastors in the days ahead.  If you want to see more pictures of the kesha, go to  https://www.facmebook.co/jimrohw?fref=ts

I will be flying home on Tuesday, please pray for journey mercies through three flights and the long drive home.  Thanks again to all you warriors who have prayed and supported this tour.  I have had many awesome and humbling experiences serving the Lord, seeing so many make decisions to serve Him, and receive healings in the mighty name of Jesus.  If you would like for me to come share with your church or missions group regarding the Africa mission or the Living Water Orphanage project, contact me and we can make plans for a date to come.

May God bless you again for your faithfulness in standing with Gather the Outcasts in Africa.   blessings, in Christ, Jim   Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Kansas, 67654  501(c)3     Paypal at www.gathertheoutcasts.com  or www.jimrowh.blogspot.com      If you received this from a forward link and wish to be on the email newsletter list, email at pureprairie@hotmail.com

Wednesday, September 30, 2015

Dear beloved:  Above is a picture from the Kesha in Nairobi in 2013, attended by students from several universities in the area.  The Lord had us positioned as watchmen on the wall to cry out for the country, for protection and for blessings from the Lord.  Of course, we were in shock the next day as the Westgate Mall attack began, but I believe the prayers helped to mitigate the disaster.  Then on Sunday of that weekend we came back together for an all day church service, where our tears covered the floor of the building at the time the attack was still ongoing.  Many of the students had personal connections to people in the mall who were killed or injured.

Ezekiel 3:17 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel, therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me."   And in Ezekiel 33:6 " If the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."  v9 "Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your soul."

Beloved, I ask for your prayers with us on Friday night as we again cry out to the Lord for Kenya.  The people here are very precious in the sight of the Lord.  Many are orphans, many without much in the way of material wealth, but they love the Lord.  Join me in tearing down strongholds of the enemy and raising up the name of the Lord Jesus, that the mountain of the Lord would be the highest mountain in Kenya. I will also be wrapping up the preaching at Shiloh Wonders Temple in Nairobi on Sunday.

I ask for your support, I am still short of funding for the Kesha and provision for the trip home on Tuesday. I have a plane ticket but not much extra. Pray about your part in helping me to finish strong, if you can help with any amount it will be appreciated.  Thank you and God bless you as you stand with me in prayer.

Nairobi Kesha by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved: Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  I am in Nairobi, Kenya, preparing for the Kesha this coming Friday night.  I am working with students from several universities, we are organizing musicians, choirs, a drama team, and security arrangements for what should be a great prayer and worship meeting.  Yesterday I spoke in a church in Rongai, on the edge of Nairobi, giving them encouragement and a word on how the enemy will try to deceive them in the coming days.

Nairobi is a bustling city of 4.5 million people, and I see many signs of increasing economic expansion.  It is the financial capital of East Africa, and so therefore is strategic in its place for the kingdom of God.  Many missionary organizations and churches have their base of operations here, so the devil is also intent to undermine the Kingdom of God here.  The Lord has connected me with the university students to influence them since they are the leaders of tomorrow.  Corruption is one of the strongholds of the enemy in Africa, and the Lord wants to deal with corruption and raise up a new generation of business and church leaders who love the Lord and are characterized by integrity and honesty.  We will be praying for Africa to prosper, but to be led by the Lord in their prosperity.

We also will be crying out to the Lord for protection from the terrorists who have plagued Kenya the last fifteen years.  As King Jehoshaphat was told in 2 Chronicles 20:15  "Thus says the Lord to you: do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude for the battle is not yours, but God's"  And then in verse 20, Jehoshaphat stood and told the people, " Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be establlished; believe in HIs prophets, and you shall prosper."  In verse 21, Jehoshaphat appointed worship and praise leaders, and as they led the people in praise, the Lord gave them victory!

Join me in prayer this Friday night as we make decrees and declarations over Kenya and the nations of East Africa.

God bless you, in Christ, Jim

More Testamonies from Mombasa by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  This boy in the picture above was delivered from insanity at the Mumias crusade in 2011. I inquired about him this year and he is still doing well..  Bwana a Safiwe!
More testimonies coming in from the meetings in Mombasa.  The man with the brain tumor and blindness who was prayed for reports that the pain in his head has gone down and he is also starting to see light and images.  His sight is coming back, pray that the Lord will finish the healing!  Another lady called who had been prayed for, she had not slept at night for one year.  She was working during the day and was slowly going mad from lack of sleep.  After receiving prayer, she slept for the three nights before we left Mombasa.  Praise God that Jesus gives rest to all who are weary and heavy laden!
I am now in Mwea, Kenya for a few days of meetings with pastors and church leaders.  I will give them a message tomorrow that the Lord has given me about how the enemy will try in the future to destroy the saints in Kenya.
I will also be meeting at the end of the week with the student leaders of the Kesha planned for October 2. I am still about $500 short of the funding needed for the Kesha, I am responsible for the musicians, instruments, snacks, and security.  I am trusting in the Lord that He will provide, as this meeting is a powerful way to intercede for the country and protection from the terrorists who plague Kenya. In 2013 the Lord had me with students in Kenya for an all night Kesha on the night before the Westgate Mall attack.  I beleive the prayers laid down that night helped to minimize the disaster at Westgate. October 2 is at the end of the Feast of Tabernacles, the Feast of Ingathering.  Pray that many come to the Lord at the meeting.

Thank you so much for your prayers.  God bless you, in Christ, Jim            Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654 501(c)3    Paypal at www.gathertheoutcasts.com       If you receive this email from a forward link and wish to be on the email newsletter list, email me at

Miracles in Mombasa by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  I am near Mombasa on the coast of Kenya, I have been preaching in house fellowships the last two days after arriving here by bus from Mumias.  The word of God goes forth with power, power to save, power to heal, and power to deliver.  I have prayed for many in the last two days who have been afflicted with all kinds of infirmities.  Many here have illness and pains, while doctors and medical care are in short supply.  This afternoon three ladies who were prayed for yesterday, came forward at the meeting and told of miraculous healings that the Lord Jesus had given them.  And today many more came forward for prayers, including a man with a brain tumor that had caused his eyesight to fail, as well as a young boy about ten years of age who was very weak, and I believe likely has HIV. But I am expecting God to do even more for them and many others in the days ahead, as I will be preaching tomorrow in a church in the area, as well as conducting meetings next week.
The Lord is keeping me in good fashion as He alone knows the needs of His servants.  I am in a beautiful private villa, on a large estate just a short walk from the Indian Ocean.  It is very beautiful here, with all the canopy of tropical trees, and the fresh ocean breezes blowing in to take away the afternoon heat.  The estate is also home to chimpanzees and birds of all descriptions.  When taking a walk this morning, I was reminded of the scripture from Psalm 37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever. When taking territory from the enemy, God gives us the spoils of victory!
This area of Kenya is predominately muslim, but the Lord has brought me here to decree and declare over this area of the country, that He has given the nations to Jesus as His inheritance.  Many in the muslim faith are seeing Jesus in dreams and visions, pray with me that many will come to know Him as a result of this trip.  Just today I met a young muslim man named Juma while walking on the beach: he allowed me to pray with him that Jesus, the Son of the One True God, would reveal Himself to Juma in a personal way.  Pray that all the muslims in the coastal region of Kenya will come to know Jesus as Lord!
May God bless you today as you pray.  In Christ, Jim   Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654  501(c)3

Moving on to Mombasa by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:
Above picture.  Children at the preschool of Pastor Lucas Obanda.  This is the church with whom we are building the orphanage.  Far left, Bishop Titus Lukale, board member of LIving Water Orphanage, Christa Bell, church preschool director, Robby Jorgeson, Pastor Lucas Obanda, Good Hope Fellowship, Mumias, Kenya.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support.  God is doing great and mighty things here.  Have wrapped up the planting on the orphanage land this week, will be moving on to Mombasa on the coast of Kenya.  I will be preaching in Kalifi at the church of Bishop Ernest Martin, speaking to bible college students during the week and meeting with government officials.

Have a need for solar expertise on the orphanage land, if anyone knows of someone with that type of expertise, have them get in touch with me.  We will be designing a solar pumping system to pump the water from the spring up the hill to the house and gardens.  We would also like to operate the house on solar as electricity here is Kenya is unreliable, and we are a distance from the existing lines. We checked the flow rate of the spring this week, it is flowing at the rate of about 10,000 gallons per day, so God has blessed us with much pure water.

The ministry finale is taking shape in Nairobi on October 2, where I will conduct an all night kesha, a prayer and worship extravaganza.  The Lord has blessed us with a big venue at Kenyatta University, one of the largest universities in Nairobi.  We will pray for the blessings of the Lord on Kenya, on the students, and also protection from the terrorists.  I will be preaching and also leading some worship.  Please pray about your part in helping to fund this kesha, it will be a big event with students from several universities attending.  I am needing about $1,000 for all the budgeted expenses.

Thank you again for your prayers.  May God richly bless you, in Christ, Jim  Gather the Outcasts, Box 92, Norton, Ks. 67654 501(c)3

Moving on to Butembo by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:

Moving on to Butembo, Congo today for a 3 day crusade and pastor training.  The Gospel must be preached to all the nations and then the end will come!
I am asking for your prayers and a sacrificial offering today, I am short on funds for the Butembo crusade as it stands right now.  I have renegotiated a trimmed down budget so I will still be able to go, and I know the Lord wants to harvest the souls in Butembo.  Would you consider making an offering to the Lord today for His harvest?  I am challenging all the faithful to make a $100 gift today to bring in these precious souls in Congo.  If you can give more that would even be better.  Luke 6:38 " Give, and it shall be given to you, good measure, pressed down and shaken togethere, it shall be given into your bosom. And with the measure that you measure out it shall be measured unto you."

God bless you as you pray.
in Christ,
Jim Rowh

Boots on the Ground in Africa by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  Boots are on the ground in Africa!  I arrived in Kigali, Rwanda last night, am awaiting a flight to Bujumbura, Burundi this afternoon.  It is good to be on the ground after 24 hours of flights and layover.  Thank you so much for all your prayers.
News from Burundi.  The top military general in the country was assassinated last weekend, he was a supporter of the president who had usurped the constitution this last spring and ran (and won) for an illegal third term.  That whole scenario led to rioting in Burundi this spring.  So God is bringing us in there in the midst of the tempest, to bring the word of the Lord and the peace of Jesus to that country.  Pray that the words given by the Holy Spirit will bring healing and conviction!
I am still short on funding to do all that God has appointed on this trip, but time is running short.  Please pray about your part in making all the good planning of the Lord come to pass.  Need about $5,000 to make it up to Butembo in the Democratic Republic of Congo where God has opened the door for a third crusade.  2 Samuel 24:21 Then KIng David said to Araunah regarding the threshing floor of Araunah, which had been offered to the king, "No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing." So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. Your offering will not only bless this mission, but it will bless you and all the kingdom of God!

May God bless you as you pray today.  in Christ, Jim

More Prayers Requested by Jim Rowh

Dear beloved:  I am asking for more prayers, I am on the eve of departure for the Africa Mission.  We are still short of the funds needed to complete all that the Lord has assigned, and I believe the Lord is speaking to some people out there to come along side and see to it that we will be lacking in nothing.  Matthew 9:37-38 Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."  And Jim replied, "Here I am Lord, send me."
I received some great news from Kenya this week.  The deed to the four acres of land for the Living Water Orphanage has been registered after several months of delay, so we can now go forward and pray for the funds for construction to come in.  God has moved the roadblocks aside, Bwana a safiwe! Praise the Lord!

May God bless you as you pray.  Stay tuned for updates from Burundi, the first stop.  God bless you, Jim
