Since my juicer burned out, I have been doing the baking soda / molasses protocol.  I have quit using it today.  I feel terrible since starting it.  I'm afraid to continue with it.

I really need the carrot juice.  With carrot juice throat growth was shrinking, lymph nodes shrinking, cough lessening and breathing was better, hoarseness nearly gone.  Now all the symptoms are coming back big time.

If any of you feel led to help me with the purchase of a good juicer, I would certainly appreciate it. My old $49 juicer just wasn't made to juice as many carrots as I need to do.

I was frustrated to tears yesterday.  The carrot juice canning was a total flop.  I drank one quart of it and nearly gagged. 

Then, my juicer burned out.  The cheap ones just aren't built for the kind of abuse I put them through. I think that's why the juice came out so bad.   I can't afford $300 to $400 for a juicer.

Til I can figure something else out, I will try the baking soda and molasses protocol.

Hi Folks,  I'm taking a 5 minute break here from juicing carrots.  I wasn't able to get the carrots until today.  I'm filling quart jars with juice and will then pressure can.  Do any of you realize how many carrots are in 50 lb.s?  :)

Well, Folks, a few weeks ago the organic place ran out of decent carrots and all they had left were cold storage rotten ones.  Nasty!!

This week finally, the store here in town has New Crop Colorado carrots for .49 a lb.  YES!!!!

I am having Annette buy me 50 lb.s tomorrow and I will try pressure canning the juice this time.

While I was unable to get good carrots,  I switched to low sodium V-8,  which I could tell was not even in the same league as carrot juice.

Will let you all know how the canned carrot juice does.

Here's the latest.  Throat seems a tiny bit better again.  Lymph nodes is neck are down quite a bit.  Breathing still not good.  Just a few steps and I can barely get my breath.

I will continue juicing as I feel better on it than off it.

I juiced 26 lbs of carrots today.  I add a teaspoon of vitamin C powder to each quart canning jar and put it in the freezer.  So far, so good.  I read that it will keep at least 30 days frozen.

If any of you folks can help with cost of the carrots, please paypal.

Folks, I will post an update about my carrot juicing once in awhile.  I am doing well on it.  Jim Rowh brought me over some organic greens from his green house.  They are incredible!  I have everything set up now so that I can do the juicing myself.  It really doesn't take long to do it.  The organic carrots I order are so good, they are addictive!

Still getting hoarse.
Lymph nodes on neck still large.
Several lumps in breasts.
Mind seems clearer.
Less pain in throat.
Feeling more alert and alive.
A little more energy.
