Joel C. Rosenberg - WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS OF THE SUPREME COURT DECISION ON MARRIAGE?

 FOUR KEY THINGS TO CONSIDER.



(Washington, D.C., June 29, 2015) -- What are the implications of the Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision on Friday to make same-sex marriage a Constitutionally-protected civil right? Is the Court’s decision to change the definition of marriage really such a big deal, or are Christians hyperventilating over the issue for nothing?

Unfortunately, yes, this is a very big deal, and it puts America on a perilous path. Unless we change course soon, this could accelerate the nation’s judgment and implosion.

Over the weekend, I posted a new column on the blog explaining four key things Christians ought consider at this critical time. Let me list them here. You can read a more detailed analysis of each point on the blog.

1.) First, the Supreme Court is overreaching its Constitutional authority, and is thus undermining its own legitimacy and pouring gasoline on a highly-politicized issue that will deeply divide Americans for years to come. If the Constitution even mentioned the word “marriage,” the Court might theoretically have the right to address the subject. But the word is never mentioned in the text. Thus, the Framers of the Constitution never intended the federal government to define or regulate marriage. The 10th Amendment plainly states that “the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” So the issue must be left to the people and the States....

2.) Second, the Court’s ruling forces 320 million Americans to embrace overnight a radical reengineering of the entire social compact of marriage that even some of the nation’s most liberal political leaders strongly opposed just a few years ago. For more than 5,000 years, Judeo-Christian civilization has been built on the definition of marriage as one man and one woman in a sacred compact before God, creating a family that can bear children and raise them with the loving care of a father and a mother. Now, five unelected Justices of the Court are undermining the fundamental building block of healthy, stable Western civilization with no idea what the down-stream implications and ramifications will be.

Until recently, even some of America’s most liberal political leaders were opposed to this radical social experiment. “I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. I am not in favor of gay marriage,” then-Senator Barack Obama said on MTV during the 2008 presidential campaign. “Marriage has historic, religious and moral content that goes back to the beginning of time, and I think a marriage is as a marriage has always been, between a man and a woman,” said Hillary Clinton in 1999....Obviously, both President Obama and Mrs. Clinton have since changed their positions. In doing so, they and the five Supreme Court Justices who back their position are now putting people who still hold the position they once professed to hold in the position of being attacked as “bigots” and “haters” and “civil rights violators.”

3.) Third, the Court’s ruling opens the door for a frontal and massive assault on religious liberty. Christians all over the country who hold to the Biblical definition of marriage are beginning to be taken to court and fined -- some are even in danger of losing their businesses and their homes -- if they do not agree to bake cakes for same-sex weddings, or cater such weddings, or take photographs at such weddings, and so forth. Other Americans are being subjected to government-mandated “sensitivity training” for not helping homosexuals celebrate their lifestyle. Still other Americans are being fired from their jobs for holding and teaching the Biblical principles of marriage....The assaults on religious freedoms that are happening with growing frequency at the local and state level could now explode at the national level....

4.) Fourth and most troubling, the Court has acted in direct and brazen defiance of the Word of God -- and as painful as it is for me to say it, this will likely accelerate us towards judgment if America does not soon change course.

God, not government, created marriage. Indeed, God defined marriage in the very first book of the Bible (Genesis 2:23-24) as a sacred union between one man and one woman. In the New Testament, the Lord Jesus Christ reaffirmed this Biblical definition of marriage. Jesus said, “‘Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh”? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.'” (Matthew 19:4-6)

Nevertheless, five unelected Justices have willfully moved to redefine what the Lord God Almighty Himself ordained. At the same time, nearly 60% of Americans tell pollsters that they support the legalization of same-sex marriage, up from about 12% in 1988 (and up sharply just in the past few years). Thus, while these five Justices bear much responsibility, they are acting in the will of nearly six-out-of-ten Americans.

Tragically, this is not the first time the Court has gotten a major policy issue wrong, or the first time it has acted in defiance of the Word of God. In 1973, the Court ruled in the Roe v. Wade abortion case that Americans had a Constitutionally-protected right to murder their unborn children. This was a morally unconscionably decision which has led directly to the death of more than 57 million children as well as terrible emotional and spiritual pain and suffering for millions of women. The Court’s decision to undermine Biblical marriage and attack religious liberty will also lead to great sadness and suffering, not freedom and joy as its supporters contend.

The members of the Supreme Court have forgotten they are not truly the highest or “supreme” court in the land. There is a higher authority, and there is a grave cost to defying the Supreme Judge of the universe.

In Romans 1:18-32, the Apostle Paul warns societies that turn away from God and His Word. Three times in this passage, the Apostle warns that God will allow societies that rebellious against Him to slide deep into heterosexual and homosexual sin, along with many other sinful practices. Indeed, God vows to turn such societies over to debauchery if they will not repent, and He warns that such societies will, in time, face judgment and the “wrath of God.”

These are some of the reasons I wrote the non-fiction book, IMPLOSION, in 2012, because I’m deeply concerned that we are on a fast-track towards judgment unless we repent and radically change course. And as I wrote in the book, it is the responsibility of those who love God and follow the Bible to lovingly and clearly explain to individuals, societies and entire nations what God says in the Bible, what He offers mankind, and what He requires of us, and the grave consequences of refusing to listen to or obey the Lord and His Word. It is not our job to force people to obey Christ, or to be unkind or angry towards those who deny Him. Rather, it is our job to “hold fast the faithful Word,” even to a society that won’t listen.

How then should Christians respond to the latest developments?

The Court’s latest decision must not lead Christians to anger or hatred or violence. Rather:

1.Let us be moved to brokenness before God, to deep repentance and to ceaseless prayer — many Americans don’t take God and His Word seriously because they don’t see Christians taking God and His Word seriously; for this and much else we need to repent and ask God to show mercy us and forgive us.

2.Let us plead with our Father in heaven to pour out His Holy Spirit and grant us a massive spiritual revival within the Church that will draw us back to a close walk with Christ and faithful obedience to the Word of God.

3.Let us keep become far more faithful to teach and preach the Word of God, the “whole counsel of God,” and clearly and lovingly explain to all people the Gospel — the Good News of God’s love and forgiveness for all who will turn to Christ — and not be intimidated into silence.

4.Let us plead with the Lord to grant a Great Awakening to America at large -- as we preach (and live) the Gospel, let us pray that God chooses to move so powerfully that millions of lost, unsaved people repent and turn to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and Redeemer of their lives, marriages and families.

5.Let us always be gracious and kind to those who disagree with us (on the marriage issue and/or other Biblical issues), constantly seeking to obey Christ’s command to “love your neighbor” and to “pray for those who persecute you.” 

TREASURES ARE BEING UNLOCKED IN YOUR LIFE by Lana Vawser

I had a vision this morning and I saw many of the people of God before the throne and they were crying out to see more of Him, to see more of His goodness. To be drawn deeper into the encounter with His heart. To see His radical kindness, goodness and love. To be completely overtaken with His love in new and fresh ways. Major ground was being taken through their hunger. Through their hearts cry to KNOW His love more than ever before. There was such a desperate cry rising up before the throne, and I saw the Lord delighting in these heart cries, it was such a sweet fragrance unto Him. Their heart cries partnered with HIS HEART CRY to lavish His love and draw them deeper into the waters of revelation of just how FOR THEM, He is. Just how much He delights in them. As the people of God cried out in desperation and hunger to know Him more, it joined with His heart desperation and SPARKS starting flying. Sparks of LIFE!!!! All the areas that were dead, dry and broken were being HIT with these SPARKS of the heart of earth meeting the heart of heaven and MIRACLES were exploding.

I saw the people of God begin to cry, tears of thankfulness, healing and restoration were flowing from their eyes. Breakthroughs happening into deep crevices of the heart that only Papa God could reach into. Breakthrough on the INSIDE was releasing breakthrough on the OUTSIDE.

Suddenly I saw myself in a mansion. It was huge. Corridors upon corridors of doors and I knew I was in my Father’s house. While I walked the corridors I could hear the heart cries of His people to know Him and His love deeper, SO LOUDLY. Suddenly before me was a BRIGHT light, so bright I could hardly see, but the warmth and love that was emanating from this light was like nothing I had felt before. I fell to my knees and began to cry out "Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy". I was then reminded of the elders who are before the throne crying out "Holy, Holy, Holy". There was a level of seeing Him in His Glory being opened up that was breaking me in such a glorious way. The Lord is inviting us into deeper encounters with His Glory that are going to leave us even more broken by His goodness and love than we ever thought possible.

As I looked up in amongst this glorious light, I saw the face of my beautiful Papa God. He smiled with the most beautiful smile of love that would leave me awed and broken for all eternity. The smile of such approval and love, such DELIGHT in me as His daughter. As I was encountering Papa God, I could hear the people of God around me and in different areas of His house, and they were all encountering Papa God at the same time.

In one accord, in one voice we all began to cry out "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, our hearts cry is to KNOW YOU MORE, YOU GLORIOUS GOOD FATHER."

Papa God then spoke "Your hearts cries have opened up new realms."

We then all moved together as a body following Papa God as He opened a door and we entered a room where there were THOUSANDS of treasure chests. They were all closed and had a lock on the front. As we moved into this room, we all saw that each one of us had a treasure chest. Papa God stood in the middle of the room with a huge smile on His face and such excitement for what was before us. Again He spoke… "Your hearts cries have opened up new realms". Each one of us then began to hear our heart cries to see Him, to know Him more, to know His love begin to fill our ears. As we all listened to our hearts cries, SUDDENLY the treasure chests began to fly open.

The most GLORIOUS jewels and treasures were in these treasure chests. I was almost blinded from how much these treasures shone.

Papa God spoke again..

"Your hunger has unlocked realms of greater treasure in your lives".

Ephesians 1:3 began to boom in my ears:

"All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ."

A greater level of revelation was being entered into of our inheritance in Christ. WHAT IS OURS!

"The unlocking is happening from the inside out My people. Areas of the heart and soul that have been locked away because of hurts, woundings, disappointment, trauma or lack of breakthrough are being OPENED UP in the revelation of what you have in Christ. WHO you are in Christ. How I love and adore you! How I delight in you! An accelerated breaking open on the inside is happening and releasing a breaking open on the outside. Deeper healing, restoration, wholeness and freedom is happening on the inside. Greater encounters with Me and My heart that are going to put "all things right." You will see that as this happens, so will breakthrough happen on the outside. Doors, new floors, opportunities, shifts, turnarounds. I am doing two accelerated things at once in this season. Strengthening, delivering, healing and restoring My people in their identity with Me, and AS that happens, I am opening up greater favour, opportunity, increase and breakthrough. Your HUNGER is taking you where you have NEVER BEEN BEFORE."

"Your greatest days are before you My people, all grounded and flourishing in Me, and knowing My radical love and acceptance of you. I don’t just LOVE you My people, I LIKE YOU. I LIKE being with you! I ENJOY you spending time with Me. I ENJOY hearing you share your heart with Me. I DELIGHT in YOU!!! It is time for you to see AS I SEE. No more disappointed but perfected by LOVE."

"The most lovesick possessed completely by love people are arising now. Completely overtaken by My love as a GOOD Father for them, completely overtaken by their love for ME and completely overtaken by their LOVE for one another."

YOU are defined by LOVE!!!!!!

"It’s time for a LOVE revolution. LOVE TRULY DOES AND IS ABOUT TO CHANGE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!"

Have You Been in Seasons of Barrenness?

Have you ever been in a season when everything seems to go wrong? In fact, as a Believer, sometimes it seems as if everything just gets worse! Yep! And then we start running! We run to our best friend. Then we run to our next best friend. And then we run to the pastor or counselor. We cry out (loudly!) for help, but we are finding no solutions.

The problem (and the void) that we are experiencing is not something we can put our finger on. It's bigger than what man can fix. The difficulty is not a natural issue; it's a season of barrenness which connects with unfruitfulness. I know it feels desolate and bare, but it is a season where our faith can actually become more solid in knowing God's ability (and desire) to intervene. (Photo via Pixabay)

Some that read this may be thinking or even confessing, "I have prayed, fasted, cried, and used every spiritual method that I know and God still isn't doing anything."

It's frustrating, isn't it? I know. I've been there also!

But if we try to get God to move a little faster, we turn our focus into performing for God, thinking that He is going to see our religious exercises and have pity on us. A season of barrenness is a season of unproductiveness and emptiness. This is not the season to perform, but a season to let God handle what we can't. It is highly possible that we are not doing anything wrong in particular, but let's face it: If we could have pulled this off, we wouldn't be crying out to God for help. It is then, during our most frustrated seasons, that we soon find out that being submitted to God and being completely in submission to God are entirely different.

Reader, keep reading. You're going to really embrace this revelation.

A Spiritual Disconnect?

We can be submitted to what is referred to as a "religious belief system" and yet not be submitted to God.

How can these things be? Think about this a minute.

It's possible that even though our hearts long for His truth and presence, we still could be led astray by a false religious system. Yes! Even in what is often deemed "Christianity"! We see it on the news and read it in the papers almost on a consistent basis. A minister changes the Scripture from "the" truth to "a truth" and suddenly there is a spiritual disconnect.

Jesus was very clear when He said that "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me,"(John 14:6). Not being submitted to the Word is not being submitted to Christ. Jesus never said that I am "a" way. He never spoke of "a" life. And, definitely not just any father, but "the Father." Let me clarify my statement a bit further. Many who minister the Gospel, regardless of their positional authority (meaning someone in oversight), could experience a barrenness of spiritual disconnect, although barrenness is not solely confined to those in ministry. I believe that anyone who ministers the Gospel to others is considered to be a minister. Isn't it amazing that Jesus picked business people to start His ministry? So, a spiritual disconnect producing barrenness can affect ministers in the marketplace as well.

Your Marching Orders

Romans 8:28 says that we "know" that "everything" will work together for good to them that love God and those who are the called according to His purpose. Notice that we are "the called" for "His purpose." Notice that it is not that "we think we know" that all things will work together for our good, but it is based upon relationship with God through faith that we know for sure that our future will work the way the Father has it planned. Even though we are sure to make mistakes, Jesus' plan is still very much in existence and many of our marching orders have yet to be fulfilled.

Listen, if you are in a season that is preventing you from marching forward, then please give yourself some grace. In my recent book, Between Spiritual Seasons, I write about being empowered to shift from one spiritual season to another. For now, please know this: Just because you are not marching does not mean that you do not have an assignment to fulfill.

Sometimes we think that we accepted Christ so that we could become a better person when, in all actuality, it was He who chose us. He is waiting for us to be properly aligned with His plan so that we can begin to march forward! Some think that we get to choose our own mission, when in reality God already had the mission – He was just waiting for us to line up.

You Were Chosen Before the Foundation of the World

Since we were chosen before the foundation of the world (see Ephesians 1:4), according to His purpose, we have a specific role to establish Heaven on Earth. Everything with which we are challenged while on earth is to prepare us for what He has in store for us. And, yes, I'm referring to your marching orders, which include your purpose and destiny even when nothing seems to be moving forward.

Be encouraged, Dear Ones, and know that you are called and appointed to run with your assignment during this season. Before the foundations of the world, God placed this passion within you. It's your passion. Not someone else's.

I am not talking about being unsubmitted during this season. Catch this! One of the things that help a person through frustrated seasons of feeling dry and lonely is accountability. It's always the enemy's plan to separate and divide. The enemy knows the strength of two or more. So, especially during times of barrenness, stay connected.(Photo via Pixabay)

When we are weak, He is strong. Remember, it is not by our power or strength, but by His Spirit. Anytime the enemy is fighting hard against us, we must read his mail backwards. Which reminds me of my wife's book, "Silencing the Accuser" by Dr. Sandie Freed. She exposes the eight lies that the enemy uses to take away our marching orders. This is a season to stay focused, not distracted by the enemy.

At This Level of Ministry

As I began to write this article, I sensed the Lord said that at this level of ministry the Body of Christ will have to recognize that this is not about being devoted to religion, but being devoted to our individual assignment of Christ. Even though we function as a Body, "as one," we have individual assignments. He knows that if we allow our past to predict our future, we will continue to come short of His glory. But remember this! We are not tested according to our experiences. We are tested according to our "potential" that the Lord has placed in us. It is the potential that is within that is the big threat to the wicked one. As we march forward with our assignments, it will take us all working together even though we are all at different spiritual levels.

It takes all the pieces of the puzzle to complete the puzzle. If there is one piece that is missing, it becomes an incomplete puzzle. No matter how beautiful the puzzle may be designed to be, if there is one piece missing, it stays unfinished. If we stay separated and individualized, even though we are teaching the same Christ Jesus, we become separated because we have left out others that don't traditionally function the way we were taught.

I believe that we have come a long way from pure traditionalism, but we have such a long way to go towards unity. Our marching orders during this season and at this level of ministry have nothing to do with comparing denominations or the number of years in Bible college. It has absolutely nothing to do with being religious, but has everything to do with representing (re-pre-senting) Christ on earth as it is in Heaven. I know that some will contend and say that we just haven't been taught to do it that way. We shouldn't allow a doctrinal mindset to stop us from joining with the whole Body of Christ for a common purpose. It's about the Kingdom and not you and I. (Photo via Pixabay)

You and I both know that Jesus can be taught from the same Bible many different ways based upon the numerous ways to demonstrate the goodness and mercy of God. For example, it is like in kindergarten, when those of us of my generation were all taught to color within the lines of our coloring books. Our minds were submitted to our teacher so that we could get a passing grade on our coloring, but God placed huge standards and dreams in our anointed minds. I also have to ask, why is it that we who learned to color in the lines successfully often spend the rest of our lives being told to get out of the box if we want to be successful?

Now, let me transfer this simple concept to the Church as we know it today. It is like the disciples when they were out ministering and they came upon some that they could not heal. They came back to Jesus and asked a very good question. "Master! It worked on everyone else, but on this one it didn't. WHY?" Jesus had to tell them to get outside the lines because this type of sickness requires prayer and fasting on your part instead of actions on their part. It was a new level of ministry.

Don't Stop Now!

Let me bring in a final point that can affect our focus on our marching orders. A hurt or spiritual wound can sometimes cause a Believer to take a side street. When we are in a "quitting season," we want to give up regardless of the cost.Don't stop marching! I promise that God will come through for you. Your marching orders have not been cancelled. Many Believers lose vision during times of desperation. I have taught on regaining vision for years, and if you have lost vision, I believe this book can empower you.

Let me say again that when we are challenged the greatest, that is when we grow spiritually the most. Marching uphill is always harder than marching downhill. In my book, Regaining Vision, I discuss the tragic effects of those who lose hope and vision, which causes us all to stop marching.

Proverbs 29:18 says that we simply cannot go forward successfully without a vision. Anytime that there is loss of vision, there is doubt and unbelief. Anytime there is rejection, there is shame. Anytime an opportunity does not spiritually line up with the peace of God, it is possible that it is not you but that there is something wrong with the opportunity. Many times we want to quit or stop because we can't fix something that needs to be fixed. Don't stop marching. You may only need to change your method. Your new level of ministry is upon you. Father, I pray a blessing over every reader. I speak hope and success to Your children of faith. Lord, it is You whom we serve with our gifts and talents. Lord, bless Your servants and give them strength to fulfill purpose and commission. I speak NO MORE DELAY over them concerning their breakthrough. Whatever concerns Your sons and daughters concerns You. Holy Spirit, I ask that You bring comfort to those who are in turmoil and are burned out and those that have lost vision. You are truly the Comforter. I pray that this season of barrenness stops immediately and their vision is revitalized and refreshed going into this new level. We thank You and trust You. Amen.

Understanding the Coming Judgment... by Nathan Leal

"...but my people know not the judgment of the LORD." Jeremiah 8:7

A few days ago, I shared a word about the recent Supreme Court decision to legalize gay marriage in America. In my summary, I exposed my heart and the grief that I have experienced because of the court decision. My grief includes a spiritual snapshot of what the decision will mean for the United States.

Ladies and gentlemen, this country is in trouble. After the abominable announcement, Obama lit up the White House with the gay colors of the rainbow. In so doing, he polluted the residential figurehead of the nation. So not only has the Judicial Branch of the Nation blasphemed God, but Obama also blasphemed the God of Heaven with arrogance and hubris.

This act ensures that America has turned a dark corner and is now going to reap the whirlwind of fiery judgment.

Over the past seven years, I have been warning that many horrible judgments are coming to the United States. Some believed the warnings. Some people mocked them and some people accused me of being a liar. Nevertheless, through the years, I have remained on the wall and relayed what I see approaching.

Because of my appointment, God has allowed me to see prophetic glimpses of horrible things. At times, when I experienced some of the visions in the spirit, they included moments of terror. Over the years I have learned, that our God is powerful. He is mighty and I have also learned that judgment is a portion of God's composition.

To know God means that we must understand judgment. We must understand that in addition to His mercy and holiness, He is also a God of judgment.

"Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 9:23-24

This is one of the missing elements in today's church. Today, most Christians do not understand this aspect of God. Nor do they understand that God gets angry. They do not understand that the evil works of man can upset the divine applecart. This is no small thing. God tells us in Jeremiah that failure to understand His judgment results in the condition of a foolish heart:

"Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God." Jeremiah 5:4

According to the verse above, God considers those without the knowledge of judgment to be poor of soul and foolish. Therefore, it is very important to have this knowledge and understanding.

People must also be taught that when God gets angry, it is a fearful sight to behold. Jeremiah 5:22 tells us that we as his children should possess a healthy fear of God. We should also know and understand that there is a time to tremble and be afraid of His fury.

"Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence,..."

In the verse above, God asks the people why they do not fear Him. The Hebrew word for fear is "yare." The definition of "yare" means - to fear, revere, be afraid.

When I shared my lament in my prophetic essay titled, "I Grieve," I stated that because of the horrible evil that has overtaken America, all of God's people should be afraid. I said this because this means that the terror and fury of God's judgment is going to plow the land under.

The fear I was referring to was THE FEAR OF GOD!

My admonition meant that we should be afraid because God is going to grind America into a dust cloud of chastisement.

Now folks, please try to understand what this means. It means that we are all going to see fearful sights that GOD IS GOING TO BRING! And as a result, some of the population is going to perish. This means that out of the thousands of readers of my essay, some of them are going to experience grief and sorrow by the loss of family members who were not ready.

In layman's terms, this means that in the coming divine purge, the family members of some are going to die. To me, this is a fearful thought. Therefore, the people of God should mourn and be afraid that the fury of almighty God is on its way.

I was not talking about being afraid of man, and for the benefit of those that did not understand, I am explaining it to allow clarity. I hope that those that were confused will see that in the context of history, America has crossed the line into territory that has destroyed empires in the past.

I do not say these things lightly. The terror of the Lord is unequaled in the universe and His fury is something that no human should ever want to see. Unfortunately, it is approaching America.

After I sent out my lament, several people emailed me and said that I was an error because I admonished Christians to be afraid. This is not what I was communicating.

In summary, brethren please harken yourselves to a solemn realization that from this day forth, on any given day, the next divine event will arrive. When it does, I hope and pray that you and your family will be sheltered under His wing.

In the Book of Revelation, we are shown a glimpsed of the end of days. In Chapter 14, an angel cries out to the entire world to BE AFRAID because the judgment of God has come.

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven,...Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come:" Rev. 14:6-7

In the verse above, the Greek word for "fear" is: Phobeo which means - to fear, be afraid, to be struck with fear, to be seized with alarm,

This is where the word phobea comes from, but isn't it interesting that it is used to described the attitude that the saints should have as God judges the earth. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And when one sees that the fury of God is approaching, the wisest course of action is to be fearful, tremble, and also have an attitude of humbleness and repentance towards Him.

This is where we are my friends. So please prepare your hearts accordingly. I also hope that these words will help to clear up any confusion.

"Darkest Before Dawn"
As someone who has a great love and heart for the United States of America, I was grieved along with fellow Believers at the decision from the Supreme Court "redefining" marriage.
I felt the discouragement and sadness of many in the USA, the questions, the feeling of "not understanding", the confusion and the feeling of not having their "voices" heard. Many disheartened that they are now faced with an outcome they either did not agree with or believed for.
As I pondered this before the Lord suddenly, the words flooded my heart: "It is always darkest before the dawn. Darkest before the moment of greater victory."

I was left with the sense for many that are feeling this "outcome" as great darkness, that there is still hope for the USA and to encourage the people of God in the United States. Even though for them it may seem like "defeat" in many ways, God is not finished with the USA. The words flooded my heart again that the Lord gave me months ago, "There is still gold in the USA."

Even in the midst of a nation that has taken a stand against Biblical principles and away from the God-ordained and created definition of marriage, He is the One who defines marriage, not a court system. Certainly there are spiritual laws, we reap what we sow, but I felt the heart of God for this people to NOT GIVE UP HOPE.

Do NOT give up hope, even when you feel like you are at the end of your rope. Even when you are faced with a situation such as this that is disheartening and discouraging – can I encourage you to continue to contend for the USA. Continue to call her forth into her destiny. Despite the "mess" that is before your eyes, continue to call out the GOLD in the USA. There is still GOLD in the USA and the Lord has a great destiny for the USA.

"I Have a Greater Victory Planned!"
I felt the Lord saying: "Many have perceived this as the enemy having victory, but I have GREATER victory planned!!!"

I then saw myself standing above what looked like a HUGE map of the United States of America, and there was mess everywhere. It looked like things were being turned upside down; it seemed like there was CHAOS everywhere. The people of God were looking at the chaos going on around them, and were giving up hope. Committing the USA to doom. Do not align yourself with the darkness. Do not align your words with darkness.

Suddenly, I saw the fire of God begin to burn pathways through the nation for His people to walk through. As they began to walk upon these paths, angelic hosts on either side of these paths began to sing LOUDLY: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, HEAR THE VICTORY! HERE IS THE VICTORY. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, HEAR THE VICTORY! HERE IS THE VICTORY."

"Church of America, This is Your Finest Hour!"

Suddenly words BOOMED through every part of my being:
"I am raising up an army in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, that will not be swayed by what they see and will not give up. In the midst of areas of darkness in the nation, I am raising up My Church. This is THE GREATEST HOUR for My people in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. IN AMONGST the darkness, I am positioning My people as they stay close to Me, to SHINE like never before.

"As more darkness has seemingly begun to fall upon the nation, My Church is about to rise and shine (Isaiah 60) like NEVER BEFORE and SHOW the nation of the United States what VICTORY LOOKS LIKE. An army not moved by victory in the 'NATURAL' but moving from a place of ASSURED CONTINUAL VICTORY by standing STRONG in Me.

"Church of America, this is your FINEST HOUR!!!! It's time to ARISE. Some of the greatest demonstrations of My power and My love are going to be seen in this day. DO NOT give up hope. For in the darkness, you will find your FINEST HOUR. It is always darkest before the dawn. The dawn of the sons and daughters of glory arising to show the nation what TRUE VICTORY looks like."

People of the United States, I call you friends and I love your nation. I stand with you. I contend with you. I believe with you. Despite what your eyes see, do NOT give up hope. For this is the finest hour for the Church of the United States of America. You are going to shine brighter than you have ever shone as you stay close to Him. Call out the gold in the United States. She STILL has a destiny. There is still gold WITHIN HER. Show the nation what TRUE VICTORY looks like by walking in your God-given authority and destiny. The darkness many of you are seeing is a great opportunity to shine His light and glory in ways you have never before.

It really is time to arise!

Grieve Not by Glynda Linkous

I was praying about the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize gay marriage for the U.S. yesterday. My spirit has been so grieved since I heard the decision, and a feeling of dread of what is surely coming has been with me.

Grieve not for this wicked nation, My child, for her end is sure now. I will walk with My own as destruction falls, and show them great mercy.

I desire My children to be watching and praying, and be in My Word. Draw strength from My Word for what is coming, but do not live in dread, My children, for My Word is true, and scripture must be fulfilled.

What lies ahead for you is beautiful and glorious, as I receive you unto Myself.

Rejoice!

Your King is coming and heaven is your home! Rejoice in the salvation of your soul!
