A Cloud Is Coming by Cyndee Pillow

Vision and Word 
 
I saw a cloud rumbling across the sky with thunder and lightning. It was a coming storm, but the thunder rolled on the top part of the cloud, and the lightning flashed from the top also. Underneath the cloud, it was calm and covered a great amount of ground with the shade it cast. I watched the cloud rolling forward from sky level, and then, the cloud stopped. I looked beneath and saw many of God's children in the wilderness. The cloud had stopped right over their heads. 
 
It was obvious the cloud was bringing a storm, yet God was using this situation to bring shade for His people. They were the weary ones that had nearly fainted in the heat of the day, but just in time, the Lord had brought shade. I sensed this cloud was a holy covering for His people in a time of a tremendous raging storm. 
 
I saw the lightning continue to flash, yet it reached outward from the top of the cloud and then downward. No lightning strikes took place under the shaded part of this cloud where God's people were standing. There was wind that raged around them on the outskirts of the cloud, but no wind reached beneath. All remained calm under the shaded area. 
 
The Lord had spoken to me just recently and asked me, "Cyndee, can you just trust my sovereignty." Trusting God's sovereignty means trusting that HE is in control, no matter how it appears earthly power seems to be in control. Our God has the last say and works all things for the good. He is really the one in control of all that happens around us and will bring Himself and His people victory in His perfect timing. 
 
Now, as I viewed this cloud, I sensed a storm is coming that will rage and is sent by the enemy. However, in this very time, when it seems all is lost for God's people, Father is bringing shade. He will cover His people with Himself and their hope will be restored in His ability to save them in the middle of what seems to be such tremendous odds stacked against them. 
 
The Lord says, 
 
"A cloud is coming! Don't say, "A storm is coming!" No, it is not a storm to YOU my people, but a cloud, a shade, a protection and a blessing that will make you stand out to the wicked. A cloud is coming. Great Grace is in the folds of this cloud. Great Mercy is in this billowing flow! Great blessings are coming. Oh, the world will say it is a STORM like no other. They will say, "What shall we do to hide from the face of God?" They will ask you for direction and for hope and will desire to dwell with you. This is your greatest hour to arise from the prostrate position you have been in. It is time to square your shoulders and hold your head high. This is a time that I will cause you to escape and cause you to shine in the midst of a dark and dismal world. A Cloud is coming! A Cloud is coming! Hold on, for will it not come at a time when a mighty storm is raging? A Cloud is coming!" 
 
Isaiah 25:4 "For thou has been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall." 
 
Psalms 121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is the keeper: the Lord is thy SHADE upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. 
 
Psalms 81: 7 "Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder....".
