FIRE BY NIGHT by Glenn H Jackson

"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]

...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, nor the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

OUR GOD IS A GOD WHO "SPEAKS" THINGS INTO EXISTENCE

Words of Prophecy

*       One's "true" confession [proclamation] will always line up with the realm in which their heart is truly dwelling [the "world" or the Kingdom]! Many continue to speak out of both sides of their mouth but, in reality, [in the Kingdom] I require each one of My children to both confess and proclaim My "perfect Will" for every aspect of their lives [both individually and corporately] regardless of ANY present circumstances. There is no "method" or "formula" to a proper confession [of faith] it is always simply a matter of one diligently inclining their heart continually towards My Word - KNOWING that in the times of fellowship and ministering unto Me in the "inner chamber", My life and love and faith shall become the superabundance that "motivates" EVERY word that proceeds out of their mouth.

...."For out of the fullness [the overflow, the superabundance] of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man from his inner good treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse flings forth evil things. But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle [inoperative, nonworking] word they speak. For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced".... Matthew 12:34-37 The Amplified Translation

...."He who despises his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding keeps silent. He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy conceals a matter".... Proverbs 11:12-13 NASB
...."Death and life are in the power of the tongue".... Proverbs 18:21a
There is nothing wrong with saying anything that lines up with the Truth - and the Spirit thereof [Who is the Spirit of Love]. In other words, if someone is kind and/or patient and you say so then it is simply an encouragement [blessing] to them and, at the same time, a spontaneous thanksgiving to God [for all true kindness, patience love etc. comes from God]. But let us say that a certain person God leads across our path is stubborn, double-minded, rebellious and impatient. Is one [in accordance with the scriptures] free to express what is "factual" [based on outward circumstances] to them [or behind their back in a wrong spirit]? The answer is no - because if one were to speak the things that "are" [in the natural]as though they will always be that way then it is a "curse" against that person - and actually empowers the Enemy to strengthen his stronghold [s]on their life [and that is most certainly a horrific thing - especially since we have been given the power to impart faith or fear, life or death etc!].

Now there are many times where we just simply must remain silent when confronted with such things [hence the old adage, "If you can't say something good about someone then it is better not to say anything at all"] and, thus, confine what we speak about that person [or persons as the case may be] to our prayer time before the Lord - or, in fact, any other time during the day that that person comes to mind [2 Corinthians 10:5]. In the same way that as one confesses over their own lives that they are faithful not fearful, strong and not weak [Joel 3:10b], loving not unloving etc. it will eventually come to pass in their lives - so, too, as we seek to view others the Father has placed in our "sphere of existence" through His eyes [and, thus, speak the words the Holy Spirit gives us over their lives] then we will have a deep assurance in our heart that God's greatest eternal benefit [whatever that may be - for some will refuse His "best' this side of Heaven for reasons I don't understand]will, ultimately, overtake that one [and even if they refuse to enter into the "fullness" God has for them they, at the very least, will be "saved, yet so as by fire" - 1 Corinthians 3:15b].

Another example of the importance of what we speak [proclaim] is in the area of forgiveness [or unforgiveness as the case may be]. When one is struggling with unforgiveness to ANY degree [something unrighteous having been done to them by another] the importance of the words one speaks into that situation and over the lives of those who have sinned against them again comes to the forefront. Satan will always attempt to get us to not only take offense but also to hold onto it in our "own" thinking [through slipping into a spirit of self-righteousness - because after all we were wronged weren't we?] But this [slipping into any form of "self-righteousness"] causes a very large problem - and the ONLY way to overcome it is by speaking wholesome [righteous]words into [over] an unwholesome [unrighteous]situation every time even the slightest thought of that person or situation arises.

The entire key to this revelation is for one to come to the deep understanding that our God is a God who calls [speaks] things into existence. In other words, in order to create the perfect result according to the fullness of His Plan He speaks things that do not presently exist in the natural realm as though they already did:

As it is written, I have made you [Abraham] the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed. [Gen. 17:5.] Romans 4:17 The Amplified Translation
Ultimately, it was the words [from God] spoken through the prophets [and other men and women of God] that actually caused the Word to "become flesh" with the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem - and so will it [words spoken and written with pin-point accuracy]be concerning the Glorious Church and the fulfillment of Her destiny in this final hour. EVERY word we speak carries with it life or death, revelation or darkness, faith or fear etc.and this includes words we speak over our "own" lives - or others in our sphere of existence. This is precisely why it is SO important for us to bring EVERY thought captive to a revelation of who we are IN Christ [which became spiritual reality at the Cross].

...."But by His [the Father's] doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption".... 1 Corinthians 1:30 NASB
For if we "maintain" [in other words, keep going back to or relying on] any negative thoughts about ourselves or others then, SURELY those thoughts will eventually end up in words coming out of our mouths that do not line up with God's Will [best] for ourselves or others in our sphere of existence. Paul disclosed an absolute Kingdom principle when he wrote in Ephesians 4:29:

...."Let NO unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but ONLY such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give [impart] grace [life, love, faith, revelation of the Truth etc.] to those who hear"....
In 2 Corinthians 5:16 Paul wrote:

...."Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a [purely] human point of view [in terms of natural standards of value]. [No] even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint and as a man, yet now [we have such knowledge {revelation} of Him that] we know Him no longer [in terms of the flesh]".... The Amplified Translation
just previous to the above portion of scripture [which followed the same line of thought] he wrote:

...."we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting".... 2 Corinthians 4:18 The Amplified Translation
Although we are most certainly confronted by the "physical realm" [and through the words and actions of others] on a continual basis we, as children of God, are to be found "abiding" [dwelling] in the sphere of the Kingdom - a sphere that operates on all levels through revelation [and empowerment]given to us by the Holy Spirit - in any given moment. In the Kingdom, ALL things [including the factual evidence in the natural] are to be both seen and understood [and, thus, handled]in light of the Wisdom and Love and Eternal Plan of God - without exception.
