"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of
The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion,
did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them
by day, to guide them on their way, nor the pillar of fire by night, to light
for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19

IT IS ONLY AS WE CONTINUALLY SEEK TO DO ALL
THINGS OUT OF A DEEP HEART LOVE FOR THE FATHER AND HIS WORD [WILL]THAT OUR
"SERVICE" IS BOTH PLEASING AND ACCEPTABLE BEFORE HIM
Words of Prophecy:
* "Fleshly projects" may make one "temporarily" happy,
but in them there is no inherent power to keep one happy. It is only obedience
to My Word [Will] that will keep My children
in a continual state of satisfaction.
* All "satisfaction" derived
from the outworking of one's own understanding decreases one's desire within
them to truly fulfill My purposes and plans, and thus their work takes on a
direction and purpose contrary to My Will.
* If My children seek
to please Me and to glorify Me in all things, then regardless of what they set
their hand to [in "perfect obedience" to My Word and My Spirit], they shall both
enjoy it and be satisfied - fully.
...."And the Lord will
continually guide, and satisfy your desire in the scorched places, and give
strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring
of water whose waters do not fail. And those from among you will rebuild the
ancient ruins; you will raise up the age-old foundations; and you will be called
the repairer of the breach, the restorer of the streets in which to dwell"....
Isaiah 58:11-12 NASB
...."Do not be unequally yoked with
unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different
yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right
living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can
light have fellowship with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ
and Belial [the devil]? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?
What agreement [can there be between] a temple of God and idols? For we are the
temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among
them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they
shall be My people. [Exod. 25:8; 29:45; Lev. 26:12; Jer. 31:1; Ezek. 37:27.] So,
come out from among [unbelievers], and separate [sever] yourselves from them,
says the Lord, and touch not [any] unclean thing; then I will receive you kindly
and treat you with favor, [Isa. 52:11.] And I will be a Father to you, and you
shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. [Isa. 43:6; Hos. 1:10.]
Therefore, since these [great] promises are ours, beloved, let us cleanse
ourselves from everything that contaminates and defiles body and spirit, and
bring [our] consecration to completeness in the [reverential] fear of God".... 2
Corinthians 6:14-7:1 The Amplified Translation "perfect obedience"- the seeking after and
gaining a "revelation" of God's Will and, THEN, carrying it out to fulfillment
from beginning to end [regardless of how long
that may take] in the unction and power of the Holy Spirit [Who is the Spirit of Love, the Spirit of Christ
etc.], alone.
Every true believer [child of God] will only find
"satisfaction" in the things that they do as they abide in a "perfect
obedience". That is, as they are in perfect accordance with the thoughts and
intentions of the Father's heart in their every thought, word and action. It is
ONLY as we continually seek to do ALL things out of a deep heart love for the
Father and His Word [Will]that our
"service" is both pleasing and acceptable before Him [Hebrews 11:6]. For it is only "His" love
[shed abroad in our heart] [Romans
5:5]that empowers us to walk above "every" unrighteous motivation and
selfish ambition that proceeds forth from the darkened wisdom and desire of the
"flesh".
If the child of God attempts to carry out God's Will
with less than a perfect heart attitude towards that holy Will, THEN they will
not [and cannot] experience the true
satisfaction [peace, rest and joy]
that is the spontaneous by-product of "abiding" in [dwelling in the place of] faith, love, and
obedience. Every motivation of heart in our Christian service must be rooted in
the desire for "all" of the will of God to be accomplished in any given moment
[or time-frame] with a pin-point
accuracy - in order that the works of Satan might be destroyed completely [at the root], the captives set free, and
the Name of Jesus exalted in the earth to the greatest degree. Any ["maintained"]motivation that proceeds from
"self" will only serve to allow Satan an entrance [open door] into our lives. Our God is an
"absolute" God, and for each of us to fulfill His Will for our life and ministry
it will take a perfect [absolute]love
abiding in our heart.
We must gain a revelation of the spiritual
reality [spiritual fact] that the
Father has never made [and will never
make] any provision for any action or word that is apart from, or
outside of, Himself [Christ], to
build His Church. Therefore, let us cleanse ourselves from "all" defilement of
flesh and spirit in this season, perfecting holiness in our reverence and
respect for the Father and His Word [Will]. For the anointing that abides
within us is only "released fully" in us [and
through us] by faith in His Holy Word, working through His perfect
Love abiding in our heart - a perfect Love that ALWAYS manifests in a perfect
obedience. |
