Separating Light From Darkness ~ Part 2 of Podcast Transcript by Christine Beadsworth

The second plague was the plague of frogs. Now the frogs we read about in Exodus 8:5 “And the Lord said to Moses: Say to Aaron ‘Stretch out your hand with your rod over the rivers, the streams, the canals and the pools and call the frogs to come up on the land of Egypt’. And they will be in your house, in your bed chamber, your bed, in the houses of your servants and in your ovens, your kneading bowls and your dough”. So the frogs came out of the rivers of Egypt. Now we know from Revelation 16 that there were 3 loathsome spirits like frogs in the mouth of the dragon, the mouth of the beast and the mouth of the false prophet. The frogs coming out of their mouths, in Revelation and the frogs coming out of the rivers of Egypt in Exodus 8, are basically describing the same thing. The people of Egypt experienced actual green, sticky, slimy frogs, but in the days in which we are living, it speaks of unclean spirits. Unclean spirits coming from the rivers, the streams, the canals and the pools, but Revelation 16:13 tells us that the origin of those frogs is the mouth of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet. So we need to realise that those frogs are entering our homes and what are they entering them by? They’re entering by the television, they’re entering by the radio, they’re entering by music, they’re entering by entertainment and news channels. Unclean spirits are coming out of the mouths of those 3 servants of Satan and they are permeating every house, every bedroom, even the beds, your place of rest and let’s read what happens in the kitchen: “In your ovens, your kneading bowls and your dough”..

Now it’s very interesting that what God directed was that the frogs would be in the utensils and in the kitchen equipment that was used to make bread. He didn’t speak about it being in the places where they stored their oil or where their olives were or where their figs were or their onions or their leeks and their garlics. He spoke about the frogs being in the ovens, the kneading bowls and the dough. In other words, there’s a contamination in the places where bread is being produced and I want to say to you that it is very important to note that unclean spirits have been released to contaminate and make unclean the bread that is being fed to the people of God in these days. If there’s an unclean thing in the kneading bowl and you’re kneading dough in there and you’re baking bread in there, your bread’s is going be unclean. Your bread’s gonna be contaminated and your bread’s going to poison the people who eat it and so, people of God, that is why God is calling us to drink from the river within, because if you are eating bread on a Sunday morning that has been made in the kneading bowls and the ovens of Church Organisations where the spirit of this age has permeated and where they’re calling evil good and good evil, the bread that you’re being fed is unclean and contaminated and it’s defiling you. So, this is why I said to you that the first couple of plagues affected God’s people as well. You cannot expect to eat good bread in a house where the spirit of this age has infiltrated and doctrines of demons have been embraced and evil is being called good. You can’t expect to get food that isn’t defiled in that place. The world is in the Church. Egypt is in the Church to a large extent and that is why God is calling you to come and cleanse yourself with the water of the Word from the Mikvah and the place of cleansing under your own living room floor. Get back to the Word. Wash yourselves with the water of the Word. Let the Holy Spirit come and break bread with you as Jesus broke bread with the men at Emmaus and their eyes were opened to see Jesus in the breaking of the pure Bread of Life. Jesus is the Bread that came from Heaven. Heaven is not contaminated. When there are frogs in the kneading bowls and in the dough and in the ovens of the world and the Church that is arm in arm with the world, Jesus, the Bread of Heaven, remains uncontaminated. It’s the pure Word of life and the Holy Spirit wants to feed your spirit with that Word. Unclean spirits are being released in this day out of the river that comes from the dragon’s mouth - demonic influence, demonic doctrines, unclean things being spoken from pulpits and embraced and celebrated in these days. The source of the uncleanness, the source of the frogs is the rivers and streams of Egypt. So, this is why you need to get back to home base. This is why you need to be set-apart and drinking from the river of living waters within.

So we have spoken about the first 2 plagues - the blood in the water and the frogs that come from the water also. The third plague was lice and God said to Moses in Exodus 8:16, “say to Aaron ‘Stretch out your rod, smite the dust so that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt’ and the lice was on man and on beast throughout all the land of Egypt”. Here’s the 3^rd plague that have affected everybody in the world, everybody throughout the land of Egypt. Even the slaves had lice in their hair! Animals had lice! Now, it is at this point, in the 3^rd plague, that division starts to be seen between the children of light and the children of darkness, because the magicians, Pharaoh’s magicians, could not bring forth lice and then they said to Pharaoh: ‘“This is the finger of God’, but Pharaoh wouldn’t listen”. Now dust always speaks of the flesh and the lice depict fleshly doctrines of demons. Do you remember how Paul said in one of his letters: “People will reject sound doctrine and they’ll gather to themselves teachers saying what their itching ears want to hear”.
Do you know what a louse does? I remember lice outbreaks in the schools where my children were in and we were all horrified, but what lice do is they just use you as a host. They live in your hair and they glue their eggs onto your hair and they basically use human beings as homes to continue their populations. The frogs, the demonic spirits, jump on you and jump off you. They’re making the containers unclean that produce the bread, but the lice attach themselves. The lice make unclean heads and unclean hair. So it’s speaking about affecting one’s mind. The frogs are contaminating the bread bowls and the ovens and the dough, but the lice are contaminating the heads and the hair. So, unclean thaughts... If you are being bombarded with unclean thaughts, understand it’s those lice. I want to say to you that lice will attach themselves to your head and your hair and make your head very itchy if you are participating in the soulish things that Egypt has to offer. The dust of Egypt is what produced the lice, the dust of Egypt, the soulish lifestyle, the soulish behaviour, the soulish entertainments of Egypt are what are going to give you unclean thoughts. A head that is unclean, a mind that can’t be harnessed, vile dreams, demonic dreams, unclean dreams. It’s the lice that come from the dust of Egypt and we really need to go before God and repent. There is an ancient treatment for lice. We use chemicals these days, but in the olden days they just used to rub olive oil, copious amounts of olive oil, in people’s hair and then comb it through and slide the lice eggs off and completely suffocate them with oil so they couldn’t breathe and that’s a very good depiction of how to deal with a plague of lice that is bombarding the people of God in these days. Apply the oil of the Holy Spirit over your mind. Saturate yourself with the oil of the Holy Spirit; saturate your mind with the Word; saturate your mind with the Truth! Comb out your hair. Your hair speaks of your anointing. Get every source of uncleanness out of it and take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Pull down vain imaginations - the minute you get bombarded by an unclean thought, pull it down. Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and switch off that television and stop watching movies that are full of uncleanness. Stop listening to music that is full of profanities and suggestive phrases. Church of God, it’s time to raise your standards. Why have we lowered our standards to that which the world has to offer and reduced ourselves to eating out of the garbage bins of the world for our entertainment. No wonder you’re being plagued by the frogs and the lice! No wonder! You can separate yourself from the frogs. You can choose not to eat bread that comes out of an unclean vessel, but the dust of Egypt can still be coming into your home through the soulish entertainment, through worldly, filthy music. I listen to some of the music every now and again as I walk past a shop and I think to myself, “Good grief, I can’t believe that the Censorship Board allows that kind of music to be played and those words to be broadcast on the airwaves!” Lice in the head, lice in the hair, unclean! Those first 3 plagues affected the people of Egypt and the people of God. The blood in the water, the frogs in every house and every kneading bowl and then came the lice – using people as hosts to propagate their demonic thoughts and increase their influence.

So God uses those first 3 plagues to bring about a reaction in the people who are really His. What is your reaction to uncleanness? What is your reaction to frogs in the kneading bowls? What is your reaction to frogs in the beds? What’s your reaction to lice in the hair, to unclean thaughts? Do these things cause you revulsion and torment and irritation, like Lot who was tormented in his righteous soul day after day by what was going on in Sodom? You know, the frogs and the lice, they might cause you revulsion and torment and irritation, but they’re not life threatening. They caused uncleanness of the body and of the home and of the food. These are demonic attacks that have been sent against you, but in order to thrust you into separation, because what fellowship can light have with darkness. What does a Believer have in common with an unbeliever. Do you like spending your time amongst people who are vulgar, swearing and telling filthy jokes and laughing at that which is obscene? Don’t be surprised if you go home and have unclean thoughts. I mean the lice have just jumped from the one person’s head to the other person. They’re good at that and the only way to get rid of the lice is oil in the hair and God is separating the light from the darkness through this. He’s making the people of God come alive and wake up to what is Truth and what is error; what is good and what is evil; what is darkness, what is light, because we’re like the people in the time of Elijah when he said: “If the Lord is God, serve Him”. They didn’t even know that what the prophets of Baal were feeding them was unclean, because they haven’t heard Truth, they haven’t heard from a true prophet for 3½ years, until Elijah showed up! They had to be taught what a living sacrifice looked like. They had to be taught what holiness looked like, just like the sons of Zadok had to teach the people what was clean and what was unclean, because the priests had gone astray before that and the people didn’t even know any more what was clean and unclean, because they got so used to the standard of the world in the Church. And now there’s come a time when the spirit of Elijah is speaking through women and God and saying: No! No, it’s unclean! It’s unclean, don’t eat that! Don’t eat bread from a vessel that’s had frogs in it. Don’t stand next to someone else who’s got lice. Don’t associate. What does a Believer have in common with an unbeliever? That shouldn’t be your social place where you get your tank filled, listening to the music of the world, defiling your ears and your vessel that should be holy and set apart to your Bridegroom. God is using the first 3 plagues that come upon the world system, the filth, the soulishness, laws that are being passed, in order to awaken the people of God to a sense of holiness.

Now the 4^th plague that came, there was a turning point. It was at the point when the plague of gadflies or mosquitoes came, that God placed a distinction between His people and the people of Egypt. Exodus 8:21 “I will send swarms of gadflies or mosquitoes upon you, your servants, your people and your houses and the houses of the Egyptians will be full of swarms and on the ground which they stand, but on that day I will sever and set-apart the land of Goshen in which My people dwell, that no swarms shall be there, so that you may know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth and I will put a division and a sign of deliverance between My people and your people. By tomorrow shall the sign be in evidence”. So here we see that the separation of light from darkness has now been completed by the end of the 3^rd plague and when the 4^th plague was released, there was a severing and a setting-apart of the children of light from the children of darkness and the land of Goshen, in which God’s people dwelt, did not experience any of the following plagues. God says He will put a division and a sign of deliverance between His people and the people of Egypt. Now, I don’t want to go into this in detail, because I’ll go into it in my next message, but Goshen means ‘drawing near’. So Goshen, the land of Goshen, where God’s people dwelt, was the Land of Drawing Near. It’s a picture of the secret place of the Most High. It’s a picture of those who have allowed themselves to be separated from the darkness and are hiding in the secret place of the Most High and God sets those in the land of Goshen apart and they wíll not experience any more of what is coming upon the land of Egypt and upon the world system. That is why it is so important at this time to come out of her and be separate, so that you don’t share in her plagues. Be found in the land of Goshen. Be found in the land that is the secret place of the Most High, where there is a division and a sign of deliverance between the people of God and the world. You know the lice are an irritation and they bite and they make your head itchy, but the mosquitoes can bring plague and disease and they inject something in as they suck your blood and so it’s very important to be found hiding in the secret place of the Most High by the time the 4^th plague hits.

God puts a division between those who are in Goshen and the people of Egypt, so it really depends where you’re dwelling. Where are you dwelling, Beloved? Are you dwelling in the secret place of the Most High? Have you set yourself apart in holiness? Have the frogs and the lice and the blood in the water woken you up and caused you to dwell fully in the land of Goshen and in the secret place of the Most High, because if that’s where you’re dwelling, then the plague of this mosquitoes is not going to come near you. God separated the light from the darkness and He called the light ‘good’. He called the darkness ‘night’ and there was evening and there was morning, the first day, but for those who are dwelling in the land of Goshen, they will shine like stars when there’s dense darkness upon the people, because the glory of the Lord will be seen upon them.

This has been a very long message. I pray it’s given you lots to chew on and I will carry on with the rest of the plagues and the rest of the birth pangs that propel God’s people out of the world system, out of the womb of Egypt and into the Wilderness as the Bride of Christ.
