And do you know what it does when I hear your children breathe?

Do you know what it does to Me when you teach them My name?

Do you know what I'll do when you tell them about My love;

Do you know what it does when I hear your children pray;

Do you know what it does when I hear them say My name?

Do you know what it does to Me when their hearts are filled with love

And do you know what it does to Me when you show them My heart and hands?

And do you know what it does when the land is filled with love?

Do you know what it does when your children shine with light;

Do you know what it does when I hear them say My name?

And do you know what I'll do if you show them My light?

Lord, I know what it's done and I've taught my children light.

I have seen how the world begins to show the dark.

Lord, I know what it's like to pray for them to see

And I know what it means when the darkness draws them away;

But I know You are faithful and You'll raise them up one day.

Yes I know what it does to be faithful to Your name.

Lord I know what it does when You draw them to Your side

Without my help.

Lord I know what You'll do if I pray for their light

And Lord I know what You'll do if I give them to You now.

You will show them the light in the middle of the night.

Now I come with my heart for my children to see the light.
