Jo Ellen Stevens: MY BUTTERFLIES ~ RELEASE THEM TO FLY!

“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” Romans 8:14 (AMP)
The biblical use for “sons” is : (those who in character and life resemble God, those who are governed by the Spirit of God,) These are the grown up, mature, manifest sons of God they have had their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (Heb.5:14). They are those who have been transformed by the renewing of their minds by the word of God as they allowed it to work in their life and have died daily to their flesh and allowed the word to be final authority until it has changed who they are.. The greek word for “transformed” in Romans 12:2 is (Metamorphoo) It is where we get our word “metamorphosis”..which is the word used when a caterpillar changes into a butterfly.
~A NIGHT VISION OF BUTTERFLIES~
I said all of that to give you a background for the use of the butterfly in a night vision that I had. In this night vision, I was in a house, it was a familiar house to
me. I believe that the Lord showed me that this house represented the church as in (the church that meets in buildings.) In the vision there were many beautiful colorful butterflies, each different than the next one. I got so enamored by the butterflies that I decided that I wanted to capture some of them and place them in clear jars, to show them to someone that was not yet in the house and who seemed to me that also was someone that was like a daughter or son who was yet a child. As I was deciding which ones to put in the jar, this really big beautiful one flew toward me and I was so enamored by it that I knew that it must go into the jar to show the young child. As I tried to put it into the jar I realized that it was too large for the jar and it would not be conformed to the jar. I realized that I was trying to put it somewhere that was not where it was created to live and move freely about naturally. End of night vision….
~THE INTERPRETATION~
When I woke up today from this, I felt troubled until the Lord brought this back to me and began to give me the interpretation to it. This is what He is saying through it. The house was the church as we know it. The child that I wanted to show the butterflies to were the people who have not yet come into the church. The butterflies were those that have been in metamorphosis or have been being matured through many trials but have been transformed in their thinking and in their spirit to the word of God .
In the dream, I represented some type of leadership or mentor type who wanted to showcase these manifest sons inside the house in display jars, to look good to please those inside the house. THESE BUTTERFLIES (MANIFEST SONS) WOULD NOT BE CONFORMED TO BEING ONLY FOR SHOW BUT HAD TO FLY FREE! They would not go into the jar but flew away!
I believe that the Lord is saying to many in leadership. “STOP TRYING TO GATHER MY BUTTERFLIES FOR YOUR SHOWCASE TO DRAW THE LOST” but if you will let them go free they will go out and gather in the lost from their natural habitats and from where they came from, only they can not nor will not conform to, nor be a part of the spirit of showmanship, entertainment, or display, for the sake of drawing the lost for your selfish motives nor to entertain those in the house!”
“They will only demonstrate the freedom that they have in Christ and it will be contagious to the lost as they look upon their freedom and the beauty of the new creation that they have become through the process of maturation.” IT IS TIME TO TURN LOOSE OF MY GROWN UP ONES AND LET THEM FLY! LET THEM DO WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN CALLED TO DO AND REALIZE THAT THE DAYS OF THE SPIRIT OF CONTROL IN THE HOUSE IS ABOUT TO BE BROKEN!” IF YOU LET THEM GO FREE THEY WILL RETURN TO THE HOUSE BRINGING THEIR SHEAVES WITH THEM! Then you will yet say “This place is too small for us! Give us more room!” Yes it is time for My manifest sons, My beautiful butterflies covered in My glory to fly because this has been My plan and My delight from the beginning! ”
