GLORIOUS MOMENTUM by Ian Johnson

I have been thinking a lot about a statement I heard in the spirit recently, that statement was “Glorious Momentum”

What are the connotations of this statement? Well obviously it means movement of some sort but I think the key phrase is Glorious.

In the Aramaic translation 1 Peter 1:8 says this; Him whom you have not seen and yet you love, and in his faith you greatly rejoice with glorious joy which cannot be spoken,

The glory is triggered IN HIS FAITH you can’t even work this joy which leads to glory up. This joy only comes by being in HIS faith.

Let’s just think about that for a moment, what manifestations of HIS FAITH can we look at? Well its always good to go back to Genesis, to the beginning.

God acted by faith in the Genesis of creation – using the Hebrews 11 model of; - Faith is the SUBSTANCE of things HOPED for and the EVIDENCE of things not seen.

When God created all things; He saw substance within himself that became evidenced outside of Himself by speaking that which was invisible into the visible.

Again the Aramaic says - Now faith is the conviction concerning those things that are invisible, as if it were the visible in action, the revelation of those things that are unseen;

So if we place ourselves IN HIS FAITH instead of trying to work up our own faith; then we can walk in the Genesis principle of bringing substance to the invisible.

This momentum we are about to see come to pass is a very big leap for the Church, which currently operates in mans faith, there is a leap to a Kingdom realm which operates in HIS FAITH. When you think about this, it’s obvious that a Kingdom is run on the faith of its King. The shift is from mans efforts to resting in HIS finished work.

The outcome living in the Kings faith and not our effort is a glorious momentum, An acceleration of technology, of creativity, of spiritual advancement and revelation.

The possibilities are endless, remembering that the scriptures say that all the hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Christ.

Living in this momentum is like opening a lifetime of birthday presents in one afternoon, that’s why Peter declared that living in HIS FAITH will cause us to greatly rejoice with glorious joy which cannot be spoken. In other words we are joyfully speechless living in the midst of HIS glory.

So as this article comes to an end, I want to decree and declare over you a glorious Momentum and an inexpressible joy hidden in HIS FAITH. Laying down our own effort and works we step into HIS works and His rest. The outcome is glorious Momentum.
