"jealousy" - feeling resentment against
someone because of that person's success or advantages - or the appearance of
that person "getting ahead" of them in the sight of others;
Words of Prophecy:
* If
there is "any" ground of self-exaltation [self-desire - jealousy] in any one of My children
then they shall surely be "displeased" in their heart when one of those close to
them excels and is blessed.
* The "spirit of jealousy" that seeks
to manifest against your ministry is continually foiled as you walk in the power
of the "Cross". For in living the life of the Cross there is no ground for this
spirit to succeed in any way against you - and truly I say to you, those who
"allow" themselves to be held captive by the Evil One to do his will shall reap
what they have sown. Love those who come against you, and pray for those who
persecute you - that they might be led into a deep and thorough repentance and
the full knowledge of the truth [2 Timothy 2:24-26]
in this most critical hour.
* My judgement upon ALL forms
of "jealousy" will be both sudden and absolute in this most critical hour!
* There are many who are jealous of you, My beloved ones, because
of your close relationship with Me and, thus, in order to rise above the attack
of the Enemy through them you must remain [abide] in the "high place". For it is only the
life of the Cross [continual obedience unto the
denial of the self-life] that can continually cause one to overcome the
vile schemes of the Enemy from here until the end of the
age.
* How "pleasant" [pleasing] it is [both for them and for Me] when My children dwell
[abide] in true unity and one accord - in
the power of My Spirit [Who is the Spirit of Love
and the Spirit of wisdom and revelation]. How unpleasant [displeasing] it is to Me when My children are
found in either disunity through "division" [literally two different visions] and strife [contentions born of jealousy] or a "unity" that
is not of Me [agreement with each other on anything
that is apart from My Will] because in those places ALL manner of evil
exists - producing an environment of pride [self-exaltation], darkness and confusion [turmoil, disorder and disharmony] rather than an
environment of life, love, revelation and power - a power that will set the
captives free at every turn [Acts
10:38].
...."Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the
head, coming down upon the beard, Even Aaron's beard, coming down upon the edge
of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon coming down upon the mountains of
Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing - life forever".... Psalms

...."Who among you is wise and understanding? Let
him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you
have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and
so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above,
but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist,
there is disorder and every evil thing. But the wisdom from above is first pure,
then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering,
without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by
those who make peace".... James 3:13-18 NASB
* All
those who truly love Me [and have a revelation of
My Love for them] spontaneously rejoice when another prospers at My Hand.
But those who are still seeking after their own "kingdom" to any degree are
beset [overwhelmed and controlled] by a
"spirit of jealousy" when another prospers ahead of them.
...."Love NEVER is envious nor boils over with jealousy".... 1 Corinthians 13:4b
The Amplified Translation
...."Then his [Joseph's] brothers said to him, 'Are you actually
going to reign over us? Or are you really going to rule over us?' So they hated
him even more for his dreams and for his words........ His brothers were jealous
of him".... Genesis 37:11
...."Let us not become vainglorious and
self-conceited, competitive and challenging and provoking and irritating to one
another, envying and being jealous of one another".... Galatians 5:26

Jealousy is something that every last child of God who
is truly seeking Him will have to watch out for - right to the end of the age
[especially in light of the divine prosperity in
EVERY facet of life and ministry that is about to overtake all those who have
been found faithful to the highest purposes of God]. However, the
good news is that as one simply humbles themselves before the Lord - and, in the
process, continually accesses His Grace - many strongholds [of fear and self-exaltation etc.] will be
broken in the lives of many who previously had been bound by a spirit of
jealousy and/or envy.
Once one held captive by jealously or
envy gains a "revelation" [having opened up
their heart to do so] that there is no malice [ungodly desire or unrighteous motivation]
towards them on our part THEN they will let down the barriers of fear and
pride - and, thus, that spirit will have no ground to work from in them. Hence
the importance of the Christian walking in love at ALL times - for the continual
exercising of an "unconditional" Love will, ultimately, both expose and cast out
any ground of fear [in this case, jealousy or
envy] in the heart of one whose deepest heart desire is to be free
from that which has kept them bound.
