The Pharaoh Spirit by Pam Clark

The Lord has been speaking to me that the spirit of Pharaoh is in the Church.  Pharaoh is "an important leader" and wants to be catered to.  It wants servants and luxurious things and certainly its way.  The Pharaoh is up on its throne and is open to all kinds of wild ideas in order to be in the know and current and on top of things.

This is different than the Jezebel spirit who wants to be in control over people.  That spirit wants to manage and control people and acquire people's internal power. Obviously these like to team up.  The Pharaoh spirit believes it already has power and is in charge and it's usually quite open about it.

Jezebel draws people in, often "caring" about them and acting concerned with their needs and supplying what they can and then when the victim has an independent thought, Jezebel cracks down and cuts off the lifeline or (love) supply it has gained access to for "disloyalty."   People who were needy and drawn in are now devastated to lose what they thought was that family and  love.  The good news is that they learn the hard way to trust in God as their supply.

These are evil spirits, but ones very active today.  Jezebel hates the prophets because prophets will declare the believers' freedoms.  True prophets don't gather people as much as they enable people to go out and live in the freedoms and strengths of Christ, equippping them to do what they are called to do, sharing and equipping others with the powers God gives us to overcome.  That is why "Jezebel" hates the prophets.

The Pharaoh spirit on the other hand, gathers, but does it in a way to increase its kingdom territory.  For the clueless and the aimless, it can direct traffic so many are drawn to them for direction.  There is no emphasis on prayer because it might be distracting.  It is much more political.  It's not about giving God honor but politicizing in the Name of God.  It is very connected to the religious spirit.  Blind loyalty is expected and there also is the power of unity in the numbers.  Big things can be done.

For many this sounds like normal church but it's not.  The focus is on the leader instead of God.  The leader gives the permission.  The internal structure in focused on man, not the Spirit.   The leader is ALWAYS in the know, they are not really seeking God, but influence.  There is little or no humility.  The playing field is not level.

They do not believe that the ground is level at the foot of the Cross.  There are special orders and classes of people and favor is via "the king" or "the pharaoh" and not through pleasing God where there is lasting peace.  The peace of God is uncontested;  the false peace has to be fought for.

The Bible says, "You will know the truth and it will make you free."  (John 8:32)  It also says that "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." (Romans 8:1)   It honors Jesus as the One who is the true access to God the Father and it shares the Father, not limits Him.  Honor in God is done through humility, not subordination.  It is willing, without strings.  The gifts are willingly offered, not demanded.  That crowd is small but the Spirit of grace on them is strong.  Many have to hide in seasons because people will pull on them, but they labor as they can.  Remember how Jesus had to get away from the crowds to rest?  But He finished His assignments!  Many did not want to give Him His due honor but they wanted what He had.

Teachers will teach and people will take it and begin to apply those truths to their lives.  Disciples will take that teaching and work to implement it and live it out.  The real leaders will teach people how to bring other people to CHRIST, not the political system of the church.  They will show the wonders and signs of the Kingdom and release others to go and do likewise.  Their gathering will be joyful events and the unity will bring many miracles.  The hard part is leaving to go tend to other things that need tending, but they refuse to have people indebted to them.  They will pay fair and not manipulate.  They will seek the good of the person and find joy in seeing their gifts materialized.

The false kingdom will not pay fair and will manipulate.  They will take the impoverished people and give them just enough to get a little better but hold it over them by fear to lose that - they keep them needy.  You can see these practices in many businesses today but it started in the Church, because the people of God truly rule the earth by God's decrees.  Our country was founded by Christians and Christian principles.   God's Kingdom seeks the unity of the people, but the world system does not.

Many unscrupulous businesses today tell people what they want to hear but do not deliver.  People get ripped off and find no recompense.  These are all spiritual issues that the Body must address.  Evil spirits must be bound and run off!  And those evil spirits will work to make sure no one else finds their way into the Church if they can, so outreach evangelism is extremely important, along with knowing God's Plan.   God loves people but has a Plan for the earth!   When we walk in our strength, we are like the proud lions and kings, a site to behold.

Proverbs 30:
29 There are three things which are majestic in pace, Yes, four which are stately in walk:
30 A lion, which is mighty among beasts and does not turn away from any;
31 A greyhound [some translations say a strutting rooster], A male goat also, And a king whose troops are with him.
