The Weapons of the Spirit of God by Judy Bauman

What do you think about the most? Our thought lives tell a lot about us and our relationship with God, or lack thereof. The apostle Paul wrote that we are to cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus. (See 2 Corinthians 10:3-6)
Remember, God doesn’t give us weapons like knives, guns and bombs; no, they are spiritual weapons not natural ones. These weapons are powerful in breaking strongholds. They are loving God the Father and our neighbor as ourselves. They are bringing a sacrifice of praise and worship to God, the continuing study and meditation of Holy Scriptures, prayer, fasting, operating in the gifts and developing the fruit of the Spirit, so that we can do good works, which God prepared us in advance to do.
We can’t walk in His grace if all we think about is what is going wrong with the world. We are to rejoice because the Lord is near. Let us not be frightened of anything, but instead come boldly to the throne of God and think on what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report, and what is praiseworthy.

In the Father’s love,
Judy A Bauman
