The Test by Pam Clark

Many people and churches cry out for the Presence of Jesus to manifest, but do they pass the test?  He will see if you really want Him or not...

And just how serious is He about this?

From Matthew 25 in His words:
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?
38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?
39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’
40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’
45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’
46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

If you give to ministries and not to your local own, the outreach ministries will be blessed but the local own will not, except those who give out of a sincere heart and would help the locals, too.

God will give you tests.  The hungry and needy came, did you help?  The sick and damaged came, did you help?  The ones that were locked up inside and/or out, did you help?  Did they knock on your door?  You say you are a church or a ministry, what did you implement and put in place?

Do you KNOW the state of your flocks, because Jesus does.  Are you gallavanting the globe or the neighborhoods and miss Him?  Are the people working and engaged to help others?  Do you just leave it for someone else to do without real oversight and prayers for it?  When God is there, He will give a peace about it.  And if He doesn't, you will feel real restless.  This is not about condemnation, but reality.

Now there are many who will test you on their needs and that is not what I am talking about.  Many people will complain that their need didn't get met the way they wanted it met, that is not what I am talking about, especially when Jesus is not first in their lives.  It's the ones who don't say a word but just look to Him.

Who does He look to?   Who is on  your doorstep?  Whom has the Lord sent to you?  Who is asking for help and change?  The question is:  Do you have eyes to see and ears to hear?  Is popularity more important than your assignment?

Many people look to slay other ministers because they see them as rivals and competition.  What does Jesus  think about that?  Again, from these verses, how serious is He?
