DIVINE LOVE NEVER SEEKS ITS OWN BUT,
RATHER, THE FATHER'S "BEST" FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE LED ACROSS THEIR PATH
Words of Prophecy
* There will come a day, My beloved ones, when men
shall flee in terror from your presence. For no sin will be able to stand in the
presence of My Spirit [Who is the Spirit of
Love], and from you shall flow not just trickles of living water but
"torrents" that shall flood out upon all flesh and, through this process, My
Church shall enter My refining furnace and My spotless and unblemished Church,
full of My glory, shall stand before Me. Blessed are those who serve Me and walk
uprightly before Me in this hour for they shall ride the crest of this great
flood of My Spirit in the earth - and greatly shall they be exalted by My
Hand.
"torrent"- a stream
of water flowing with great rapidity and violence [in this case holy violence - the type we are to be
found exercising in our pursuit of the Kingdom]; a rushing, violent,
or abundant and unceasing stream of anything; the result of two or more rivers
merging together at a certain point [that really
speaks to me of true corporate anointing established between two or more
believers];
...."Love endures long and is patient
and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or
vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited [arrogant
and inflated with pride]; it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act
unbecomingly. Love [God's love in us] does not insist on its own rights or
its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or
resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a
suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but
rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and
everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its
hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without
weakening]. Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an
end]".... 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a The Amplified Translation.
It is certain that in any given situation one will either be found seeing [discerning] things through the Father's
eyes [the eyes of Love]or through the
eyes of their "own"understanding [with a lot of
"help" from the Enemy] depending on their present state of heart
[I am talking about Christians
now]. It must be clearly understood once and for all that
Divine Love is completely different to "human [soulish] love" [I don't even like to use that expression as, in
reality, there is NO such thing as Love apart from God - for He IS Love {1 John
4:16}]. When one is truly operating in Divine Love, "self"
doesn't even come into the picture, let alone be taken account of in any way.
"Human love" is base and self-serving and a counterfeit of the real thing -
regardless of how good it may "look" or "feel".
Unfortunately,
this "counterfeit love" can be a VERY powerful force - one that, up until this
time, has continued to both influence and control vast multitudes of God's
people throughout the earth [for, again, in
reality, what does NOT issue forth from divine Love issues forth from a "nature"
{the old nature} that is incapable of loving - in the true meaning of the
word]. Even "good-intentioned" self-righteousness can spring from
what, in reality, is just soulish emotion ["human love"] - the spontaneous fruit of
which is ALWAYS wrong or unrighteous discernment [John 7:24]. The worst part is that when one
discerns [judges] from a root of
self-righteousness and soulish emotion [human
"love"] they - without fail - believe that they are somehow not only
helping others but also pleasing God [which is
NEVER the case - for it is ONLY faith {which works through divine Love} that
pleases Him] [Hebrews 11:6].
When one is operating in
divine Love not only does one feel differently in their own heart [and perception of things] the power
flowing out of them [consciously or
unconsciously] will ALWAYS have a direct influence [bless, change or confront {convict} - depending on
the state of the hearts before them]on the environment they are in.
For divine Love NEVER seeks its own but, rather, the Father's "best" [whatever that may turn out to be] for all
those who are led across their path. |
